Envision Credit Union

A comedy of errors. Even simple transactions are a joke to them. They outsource everything to third parties in China, who can't even understand your name, let alone your issue. You can't even order a checkbook without them misprinting it half a dozen times and then charging you for each misprint. It's gotten to the point where it's fraudulent activity on behalf of the bank. They have missed major fraud on my account, but the minute I purchase a drink from a vending machine, it locks up my card for the two months it takes them to fix such a simple error. A joke, but only the CEO is laughing.

Envision is the best. Easy to get financing, great terms. I would recommend them to anyone looking for car loan in Tallahassee, Florida.

The chip stopped on my debit card. They are holding my money hostage until I pay $10 for a new card. That's ridiculous. If I lost the card I could understand.

Love the loan just wish the loan rate was lower. I could be at 9% but that sounds little fiction.Although this one has proven itself to be great when the time is needed.

Very poor loss prevention. Little protections for scams and false charges. All loss prevention is handled by a third party that takes months to resolve things and rules against member favor as routine operation. Low interest rate but when you are victim of a scam youre on your own.

We have been customers for many years. They used to be decent, no longer. Terrible during the hurricane Michael disaster. Won't release funds that I KNOW have cleared our insurance company's bank. They actually had the gall to ask for invoices of repairs we had done to our property, like somehow that was any of their business, they are in no way tied to our home or mortgage. Do not open an account with these imbeciles.

Envision used to be a great credit union. It was very responsive to members and had great products. But, over the last 2 years it has gone down the tubes in terms of service and management. Every decision seems to be based on enlarging the member base (by absorbing other credit unions) with little regard to how it impacts current members. Many of the functions that made it a great 'hometown' credit union are now farmed out to out of town (even out of country) service providers that has changed providing general service from minutes or at most a hour to taking days and even weeks. Envision management made the conscious decision to change debit and credit card service to two separate companies causing chaos with the card rewards program. Already earned rewards points were split between two separate companies and lost about 45% of their buying value in the process. Envision has also farmed out its mortgage servicing to a national service. In the past, one dealt with a mortgage officer directly, now its all a crap shoot as to what you will get and any efforts to refinance seems to involve many extra hoop jumps.

I have been a member of envision credit union for about 10 years they have been very good to me the products and services they offer are excellent. There was a time when I was a victim of identity theft they guided through process that needed to be done and I was reimbursed for the money that was stolen from me they have wonderful insurance I am so happy with my decision to choose them.

I have been a member of Envision for nine years. During that time, my experience has been for the most part very pleasant. Envision has definitely stayed ahead of the game in terms of technology, offering a portal that allows its users to access their account, make transactions with ease, and get answers to questions without very much difficulty. I have also never had much of a wait in terms of contacting their customer service line. They offer speediness and their representatives go above and beyond to help resolve problems for me. I have had a few issues with their loan department that make it a bit more of a hassle than it should be. They seem to have a very strict matrix for making decisions about credit. I have an above average salary and have always maintained a good balance, but due to some bad marks on my credit history, can get very little in the way of help, despite my good standing with them. I actually could not get a loan with them for a car last year, but was able to get one with another credit union without any issue. I have other friends that have even better credit than me that also have had other issues with their home loans department. I would like to stick with them long term, as long as I don't have issues moving forward when I am ready to buy a house. Still a great institution in my opinion!
