Run fast from this company! They withhold any remaining interest that you did not use because you paid off the loan early, and they keep giving you the runaround. It's a terrible company to work with!

Frustrating me with a lien release! The vehicle is showing as paid in full, account closed, yet I have to submit a request to obtain my release letter on the 27th. Then they'll submit a request to send it to me, but only by mail. Mind you, this required speaking to 4 representatives and a different department to even get the correct information. Meanwhile, I have a car deal that is stuck in limbo. I am extremely irritated at this point. I advise you to steer clear of this predatory lender.

Verified CustomerChanged my original contract and says I still owe after paying for 12 months longer than the contract stated. They marked it as a charge-off when my loan should have been paid off over 12 months ago. I paid too much; they owe me according to my original contract.

My insurance company paid my vehicle off. They cashed the check but will not remove from my credit report. They keep saying they have not received payment but the insurance company says the checked was cashed. It's been 6 months and it still shows as of this is my vehicle. The title was signed off to insurance and everything. Very shady company beware..

If there was an option for a negative score I would leave one. I financed my 2021 Nissan Rogue with First Investors. I purchased both full coverage and gap insurance. I was in an accident in December 2022 and my car was totaled. Although my husband has tried several times to reach them, here we are 10 months later, we can’t get a response. However they are continuing to send delinquent notices to the credit reporting agencies for a car that should have been paid off in the first place! Management won’t respond either- do not do business with them!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Verified CustomerThis is a horrible company. They gave me a 6 month rate drop which helped but what they failed to tell me when it was over all the late fees accumulated for that six months and the rest of the payments where due when that 6 months was up. Also they tried to tell me I didn't make any payments in that 6 months. In 2 weeks time I went from current to over 120 days late killing my credit so every payment I make goes to the over 3000.00 fees and I guess I Teresa. So I will never be current can't trade because score sucks because of them. I will never be able to get out of this loan unless I turn my car over so either way I will be carless and still won't be able to get a decent suv. Stay completely away. I have not ran into any car dealer that has even heard of this place. Also they are very hateful and they talk down to you and belittle you.

Run! Horrible customer service from the first phone call. Act inconvenienced right from the application process. Didn’t even use the correct name when they called me (not even close). Don’t understand the concept of parent companies either.

No cares at all about their customers. Have been on time and haven't missed a payment in over 2 years, needed help for just 2 months after a change of address and was told my insurance requirements covering the car don't meet their ability to issue any level of help. I explained the situation of needing the deferment of payment and was met with, absolutely zero regard to the situation. This company will not honor any level of loyalty to its customers, and you will be told one thing by an agent "well, that's only a verbal agreement and that agent didn't put it in writing so we really don't have to honor a thing that agent said, you should have gotten it in writing."
The economy is tanking, and 2 months of deferment would have been enough to keep me up to date and able to pay on this account. I no longer care what happens to the car or the payments. It is whatever at this point.
