Fox Communities Credit Union

I deposited a personal check from an out-of-state friend for a substantial amount of money. Fox Communities put a seven-day hold on it until I could withdraw it. Last year, I deposited a cashier's check from a nationally recognized investment company for $5,000 less than the personal check I recently deposited that they put a hold on. They imposed a 20-day hold on the cashier's check from the investment institution. No explanations for the holds were given in writing. However, it seems that the people in this institution have more confidence in personal checks than they do in institutions handling the nation's retirement accounts.

I would not use this Credit Union for anything other than check cashing for small amounts of money. They don't seem to know what they are doing, and based on teller turnover, it's not going to improve.

Best service I have ever received. I would recomend them to my best friend or anybody needing a good service company or your finacal needs.

awesome people to work with,, gave me a card with a small credit and I have been able to increase it as time goes on, easy to check on account and what is on the card now

Good credit union flexible. They worked on it fast. I have had no issues with having an account with them. Can access the money whenever I need it.

I literally have problems every month and I’m on the phone with them just to use my online banking for basic bill pay. I’m working on moving all my accounts somewhere else. They have one lame excuse after another.

All my accounts are at Foxx and always will be. (Until I move to Florida! :) ). They have always worked with me on every situation and treated me with respect especially when I was first building my financial profile.

I won’t use anyone but this credit union for all of my financial needs. !!! Highly recommend on every level!
The mortgage lady on Ashland Ave is very very difficult to get ahold of and rarely calls you back, so I went to the branch in Military and I couldn’t be happier !!!
I wish to continue to use this credit union for all my financial needs

Worst bank or should I say Credit Union. Depositing into the wrong account multiple times ( from personal to other business and account holders account ) Been with this bank for years and all of sudden I have a different account number. The bills that I have plus my family have is late and declined because of the account number changed with out no notice or even reminder. Never had heard of a thing with any bank. I have bank with different banks before and this it the worst experience I have.

Fox has always been there for me to answer questions if I had any. Courteous, they are willing to help you out. Good work ethic, and very welcoming.

New website is slow, doesn't always log you in and while you are working in it, logs you out after 10 minutes due to "inactivity" even while working nonstop.

Also, every transaction that happens within is SLOW, refunds take a full 7 days to reflect in my account from well known retailers. Mind you, my other local credit union posts them by end of the following day at the latest.

NO locations on the west side of Appleton, after my final check clears, I'm emptying my account and switching away.

I absolutely love this credit union ! They’ve helped me improve my credit and gave me advice. They have been more than fair and really appreciate how they took a chance with me to get started!! I will use this credit union for many years !

Love the Credit Union. Always helpful people. Always smiling and willing to help. They watch for long lines and everyone chips in.

I have had personal and business accounts with Fox Communities for over ten years. Primarily I use the Wisconsin Ave location. Tellers have repeatedly deposited funds into the wrong accounts despite full names and account numbers being on the deposit slips (that I keep pictures of). The last time 12/13/2019 this caused several transactions to go through NSF. When I discovered this error on 12/19/2019 (before being notified by Fox) and after 8 minutes on hold I got a hold of someone on the phone who never looked up my account and told me there was nothing that could be done over the phone. I had to take the morning off to resolve their mistake and now for some reason it is my responsibility to follow up on the NSF items?
Their recent technology upgrade has also been a joke. Things are now finally getting back to the functionality they had with the old system although in person transactions take a lot longer because tellers have to "wait on the system".
Honestly the only thing keeping me there is that I just ordered checks for three accounts and the only other financial in my neighborhood has proved even more incompetent.
Fox Communities USED to be a good place to bank. Not anymore. The only positive I can say is that the in-person staff has always been friendly, but they are obviously not given the training or tools that they need to succeed.

This is terrible bank. Avoid it. They try to upgrade their computer system. After a week it still does not work correctly. It is also so hard to get a loan through this bank. I have been banking with them over 20 years. Leaving them now.

I wish there were "no star" review. Went through the process at the northland branch and was put through 3 months of "Get this info" and "Get that info". After 3 months I received an email saying congratulations you are approved. Well I received a call one week later by the person working on my loan and said "Sorry but your debt to income ratio is 2% too high." Here is the problem... With the mortgage and the payoff of the other debt items I would have been 15% low. It sucks that they put you through the whole process to only have your credit hit several times by the bank and having them tell you they can help you get ahead only to find out that they throw you aside. See how I said "bank"? Well that is how they treat their customers, not "Members" We are customers to banks like this. Well I went to another "bank" and within 15 days I was approved and with a lower interest rate. These "banks" should not be tax free... They treat you like a bank, but that is an insult to banks....
