Genesis Bankcard Services

I have this card for now, but as soon as I pay it off, I will never use it again. I got it through Aspen Dental to get some dental work done. Please watch your payment due date closely. One minute past midnight on your due date, and they slap you with a $39.00 late fee. It's a horrible company, so please stay away.

A terrible company to do business with; they sell to you according to your credit situation, and I feel I made a terrible mistake financing with this company. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

I had an account with this company for 6 years. I was never late and I always paid the complete balance every month. This year they billed me the annual fee on 10/27, I paid it on 11/1 and then somebody at the company cancelled my card on 11/12. I called to get it reinstated. They said they can't and kept the $99 annual fee I paid in advance. Terrible customer service since changing their name to Corcora. I don't know what is going on with that company. DO NOT get a card from them.

I only have one account, yet this company reports two on my credit report. One stays the same, the other shows current balances. Both balances are on my report. It’s fraud to report a second account that doesn’t exist. I’ve tried having the account that never shows updated status removed to Genesis Credit with no results. Lexington Law Firm seems to be the only way to resolve the issue. I’m happy to join the Class Action Lawsuit against a Company that changes its name every year.

Made payments till I paid it off it didn't take long cuz I was always in time:)...but still its important to check ur balances every time.....this payment is tricky...

This card is a great card for Ashley Furniture. The initial line of credit was decent and I have redid (furnished) multiple bedrooms and my living room since getting this card

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Horrible customer service. Approved for card in December but card never arrived. Contacted support several times and they refused to cancel card and mail new card even though I was worried about fraud. Finally received my card in February and the card was sent to me with a block on it for identification purposes. Faxed in my driver's license and apparently it wasn't legible although I faxed it from the hospital where I work. No one ever contacted me before blocking the card. Went to the Zales store on 2/12/23 the store contacted Genesis with me and my driver's license in person to resolve the issue. Genesis advised the store clerk they could not help them and the manager at Zales offered to fax my driver's license again from the store. Called Genesis several times after this incident and mysteriously they never received the fax although I had confirmation from the manager at Zales. I faxed my drivers license again on 03/06/2023. Called in on 3/9/23 and was advised that my card had been closed for not providing proper documentation. Advised the CSR that the only identification was my driver's license which I faxed in numerous times bc they do not accept emails or mail correspondence. He told me that the decision was permanent. However, the card would remain open for payments only. But I could not use the card or the remaining balance to make any purchases.

Received card statement for annual fee before I received and activated card. Cancelled card. Reviews on BBB, company has problems.

It was easy to apply for, the terms are fair, and being able to have one year interest free is what sealed the deal for me. The staff was also very helpful.

I'm a Costumer since years and i noticed a negative entry in my credit score,turns out they didn't notify me with payment returns,instead they always just sent me emails stating "payment received".
I don't even know why and how that was possible,I know I had that kind of money on my bank account,but this was going on for months and no letter or anything.
Instead when you are on your profile it states at current statement status "paid".
You need to click on every single statement month separately to actually see what happened...very disappointed!
My negative entry will stay in my credit score history for 7 years!!!
I had 100% payment history for years with all my accounts in my credit score...now all my efforts to keep a good credit is ruined!

This card is not mine it is fraud and I'm waiting for them to take it off my credit it's somebody else's card and I put it in my name and they know this since December and they haven't fixed it yet the worst card you can ever get this card is fraud and it should have been fixed and they were lying and not fixing it this is the worst card ever to get but I never had this card it's not mine it's somebody else's and I keep trying to fix it and I wish that they would fix it

I enjoy this card. Was very surprised to get and at a $2000 credit. I am paying it down more than the as mount to pay. I w as not to use we move into our new home.

Good company for buying furniture. Easy payments. Website easy to use. They are a little slow on reporting your credit. Overall had a okay experience with them.

STAY AWAY FROM GENESIS OR YOU WILL DEFINITELY HAVE PROBLEMS. Was late on 2 payments. One payment was late 4 days and another 9 days in a 5 month period. I even paid $1500 over my $200 I owed because I was a few days late. They closed my account without acknowledging me. S/w 4 reps today. First one said it was closed and tried getting me to a supervisor for 30 mins before they hung up. Second rep said it’s definitely open and the first rep gave me the wrong info, and again supervisor didn’t answer after 27 minutes. Third person said closed, got transferred for 35 minutes and again phone hung up. Claimed it was closed in jan. But have a letter from them in March stating it’s open. Nobody knows what or why it was closed. Every time I’m transferred I wait on hold for 25+ minutes and it goes silent. Sounds like someone accidentally closed my account which means I won’t have a wedding ring for my wedding in 2 weeks.
