I hate that I ever switched to this bank. I've had endless issues since day 1. I would balance my checkbook, and write down every damn transaction, and yet I was forever having discrepancies. There's no way I'm that mathematically challenged to always have had so much more or so much less when I checked online versus what my checkbook said. This caused me so many issues, and so many overdraft fees constantly. They are not very kind with overdraft fees either, even during a global pandemic. My husband worked for a bank for many years, and he is forever disgusted with the amount of issues I run into! He can't figure out why something would clear on my account and cause me to overdraft on the same day that my paycheck was posting. I'd stay FAR away from this bank!! It's not worth the aggravation.

If you enjoy having car payments lost repeatedly, then Hudson Heritage FCU is for you. Customer Service does not understand how checks work, I have had 3 checks lost. I had to cancel the check, which has a fee, go to the ATM, withdraw the money, then drive to a HHFCU branch to pay in cash. I am having my loans transferred out of there as of the writing of this review.

Ex wife who was never on my account fraudulently withdrew money and paid bills. Bank never admitted any fault representatives didn't care. Had fraud on my account after speaking to several customer service reps it took 2 weeks for them to mail me another card. Worst credit union in the state

I don’t recommend this Bank. They practice predatory tactics when dealing with new customers. Unless the statements are in writing, do not believe their quotes. They answer your questions with what you want to hear and do not keep their verbal commitments, hence the customer ends up making higher payments.

Avoid this place at all cost! If you do not watch your account closely they will try to take you for all you are worth. They took 20$s a month from me as a "late fee" for years! I didn't notice because I had only banked through atm's and I was supposed to be paying 40$s on my credit card anyhow. Turns out they "messed up the paperwork" and my card was over 50% for 7 years because they were just taking interest and a late fee when I had it set up to take out the min 20$s and pay 20$ principal. SCAM ALERT. Avoid this bank!

When trying to get my first credit card several years ago I went to my Credit Union. Having no credit history they gave me a 500 dollar loan to pay back in 6 months instead. I was told that after the 6 months I would be able to get a credit. After successfully paying off the loan I was given my first credit card. The staff is knowledgeable, honest, and quite friendly.

Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union is one of the best local credit unions in the area. They provide some of the lowest interest rates on their loans! Not to mention you can apply for most of their loans directly online 24/7! They also have many branch locations throughout the Hudson Valley, so you are able to expect the same high quality service whenever you are away from home! Their checking account services are top notch as well, offering no minimum balance requirements. All in all, Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union is among the top credit unions in the area that you can for sure trust your future endeavours with!

Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union has some of the best rates around. They were very helpful when I was looking for a credit union, by offering me the best interest rates that they were allotted. I also found the service with them pretty good. I go overseas a lot and have to do a lot of wire transfers, so having to find the time to come into the bank and authorize my transactions can be tedious. After having to go through the hassle of the first wire transfer with my new account, every transfer after that was painless. If only they can allow me to authorize my transfers beforehand, I would have given them 5 stars with problem resolution and customer service. Other than that, Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union is a fine bank to use!

Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union is a very nice alternative when you are looking to join a local bank in your area. They are very competent in providing low interest rates on their savings accounts and they even have ATMs in most cities throughout Orange County! Their staff is very polite and friendly in explaining all details when you are looking to open a savings account. The atmosphere of the local bank is very relaxing and there is usually enough tellers to help with the overload of customers, so you are always treated quickly. The location of the firm is located neatly between lots of restaurants so you don't have to travel far after withdrawing to have a nice meal! Overall I am satisfied with Hudson Heritage and look forward to investing more time with them in my future projects and endeavors!

I've been a member of Hudson Heritage Credit Union for about a year and a half and I could not be happier about it. It was quick and easy to sign up with a checking and savings account. It's easy to transfer money from one account to another anywhere there’s internet access. Their employees are kind and polite and know exactly what they're talking about. If you ever have a problem they can help you resolve it. All of the workers are always happy to be there and ask you about you. I love the family-like atmosphere that Hudson Heritage gives you. I always feel like I'm right at home when I go to the Credit Union and that's the way I feel it should be. It's not some bank trying to make money, it's family.

I have had an account with Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union for over a year now and my experience with them has been fantastic. The application process was extremely simple and I had my account in no time at all. I have had no problems with my account that was their fault. Also, any problems that I have caused were resolved simply quickly by calling their customer service or going to see them. They are very helpful with anything you could need. The online banking is one of my favorite things about this credit union. It is easy to use and the transactions are immediate. I would definitely recommend this credit union to everyone and have already made recommendations to friends and family.
