I have been a member of Huron Community Bank for about 10 years now. I have never had a problem with the whole banking system and also never have had a problem with the staff. When I go in to do my banking, the staff has always been very friendly and accommodating to me. This is one of the reasons why I chose this bank when I first decided to open up a savings/checking account. When I first went there, they specifically have a person that greets people who walk in and try to direct you to the fastest place to get your needs taken care of (whether it be loans, CDs or depositing/withdrawing money from your account).
Next, I would like to comment about the whole system of their bank. I love the fact that I do not get charged money when I use a pin number in order to buy any products. I have had bank accounts that charge me money whenever I enter my pin during a transaction. This seems to punish people who are trying to be safe and make sure that not just anyone can slide their card and make purchases. This really made me happy that they did not start to charge this fee to their customers, when so many other banks did. Also I like that I have been able to get a certain number of foreign ATM fees back per year, which helps me to save money as there are not always going to be Huron Community Bank ATMs everywhere. I have never had any problems with depositing or withdrawing money, it has always been correct. Another thing that I love is that when I deposit money via check or cash, it is available for me to use THAT day, not two or three days from the day of deposit.
Huron Community Bank also has a great online banking feature where they help to set up any payments that you might want to have come out of your account monthly such as: electricity, water, cable and any other bill you can think of. This makes it so easy when you can put in a day of the month that you would like them to automatically take it out so that you CANNOT forget to pay a bill. This has saved me a ton of money because I am not always the best at remembering when my bills are due and to who they are due to.
Overall, I would recommend this bank to anyone who wants hassle free banking with super helpful and friendly people. I have never had any problems and hopefully neither will you if you choose to bank here!
