I have used Jamestown Area Community Federal Credit Union for over twelve years and have always had great experiences there. I got my first car loan through them and the interest rate was lower than any of the banks I'd applied with. My favorite part of using this credit union is the great customer service I consistently receive there. I am always treated with respect and have never had a bad time. I moved away from Jamestown several years ago, but keep my savings account open there to keep the relationship open. I would definitely go there for another car loan.

I got a car loan through Jamestown Area Community Federal Credit Union a couple of years ago, and just made my last payment this past month. I was really impressed by how easy the process was, and at no point did I ever have a significant problem. I even had a period of time when I found it difficult to make my payments on time. It was very stressful and difficult, but I talked to the loan manager just to see what we could do. To my surprise and delight, they were willing to restructure my payment times so that I would be able to take care of it at a time more convenient to me. It was a great experience, overall.

Jamestown ACFU was my local bank for the 10 years I lived in the area prior to moving county and therefore having to switch to the local CU. I switched to them after a string of awful experiences at various big name banks having heard that local credit unions tend to treat people a lot better.

That did prove to be correct and I never had any bad experiences with them. The banking services were as complete as anywhere else and the staff and locations were all excellent. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a local alternative to the big banks.

Jamestown Area Community Federal Credit Union is pretty much everything you want in your local credit union. I've found they have reasonable fees, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a good range of products that cover personal banking and business applications should you need them and their branches have all the facilities you need.

Speaking of which, the range of branches they operate is probably the best thing about JACFCU. Aside from the main office and secondary drive-thru branches in Jamestown, I've found branches just down the road in Lakewood and also in Panama, Frewsburg and Randolph meaning they cover most of Chautauqua pretty comprehensively.
