Absolutely horrible. Rude and unprofessional. I wish I could give negative stars. Their employee Adam is awful and doesn't even know what he's doing. He mocked me and made fun of me. Crazy.

The biggest mistake I have ever made was to request a home equity loan through Lending Tree. I was under the impression that I was requesting 3 different options to get an idea of a ballpark monthly payment. My phone has been ringing non-stop for 6 days now, and I have received over 250 phone calls and about as many text messages. What an absolute nightmare. I filed a formal request to stop all information sharing and place me on a do-not-call list on their website. This has not done a thing about the sheer volume of calls I am receiving. I am beyond frustrated!

178.99% APR?! Lower than any credit card rate?! What an damn lie. I've taken a screenshot too, so I can share; this is unconscionable. There are other alternatives that are far better than Lending Tree. Do yourself a favor and don't even consider them.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR NUMBER TO THIS COMPANY! I was just doing some light research and made the mistake of adding my phone number. As soon as I hit submit, four lenders called me within two minutes. From there, I have received 8 to 9 calls daily at random hours. It doesn't matter if I block them or label them as spam; a new number will call. It's borderline harassment. I have gotten texts and voicemails. I unsubscribe from all the texts, but still, somehow I get more. Don't do it.

LendingTree was really great to work with. I needed a debt consolidation loan and was able to compare rates from multiple companies very quickly. I found a rate and term that worked perfectly for me. Overall, I am very happy with the experience. I plan to try and refinance my auto loans with them very soon as well.

This company is a joke! I'm not sure how they are receiving any stars at all. I applied for a personal loan; I have an over 800 credit score, retirement savings, additional income, no rent or mortgage, minimum debt, and no defaults on anything. Yet, they sent me 20-30% interest rate options! I would never use these services. Plus, no one who works there understands anything about loans; they are robotic. I spoke with another bank/lender, and they were surprised, commenting on those rates being for individuals with bad credit or a history of delinquency.

I used Lending Tree and they offered me virtually nothing in about ten seconds after I submitted my application. If you have poor credit, don't waste your time. They are very disappointing in my opinion.

Don't submit your information to Lending Tree if you don't want to be harassed by their affiliates. Too aggressive—they call, text, and email non-stop, 24/7. I was even receiving calls and texts at 11:00 PM EST, and again at 7:00 AM the next day. I gave my information to one lender last night. After checking them out this morning, I found they had bad reviews for predatory 'bait and switch' tactics. I've done everything to get them off my back this morning, but I'm probably going to have to change my cell phone number and email address to stop them from harassing me to take their small cash-out loan. Beware—don't submit your info, because you're going to face a barrage of hard-sell tactics from their affiliate lenders.

Predatory Bait & Switch. LendingTree connected me with a lender called 'Forward Financing,' which sent me paperwork. Then LendingTree informed me that they had 'misspelled my name' on the documents and asked me to sign again. However, my name was spelled exactly the same, and the terms of the loan had somehow changed. These are predatory lenders and company destroyers—stay away.

This place will scam and defraud you. They just cleared out my bank account, and I didn't even have a loan with them. Heads are going to roll. Please stay away from these scammers.

They are not a lender. The moment you click "See my rates," your phone and email are bombarded with calls, texts, and emails from numerous lenders, including legitimate ones and scammers. It's utterly infuriating, especially because I was foolish enough to use my business number.
I texted "STOP" to the number indicated on their website and received the message "This service is not available."
I absolutely despise this company just 10 minutes after learning about them. Don't waste your time; you will regret it immediately.

Scam. Not legitimate. Beware. They don't want to send you the contract for review via email. They insist on a phone conversation. When I mentioned that any contract I have to sign must go through my lawyer, they asked, "Why? Do you need a lawyer to buy a car?" I replied, "I don't know you. I don't have your ID or license. I know nothing about you." They were unwilling to send me the contract by email. Very suspicious.

About a week ago, I had a gentleman contact me from Lending Tree to get a loan from them fast, easy, hassle-free; bad credit, no credit, it was a matter of minutes, he said. Well, did all the paperwork, and he gets me my loan, all good. Then my bank calls me and tells me Lending Tree put 4 checks in my account. I didn't know this at the time; I had already pulled the money out. They tell me it's fraud. "Where's the money that you pulled out of your account?" I get a call from Lending Tree telling me there's been a mix-up. You need to send that money back, and by the time I do that, they will have my loan figured out. So I did, and yes, I gave the money from the four checks back to them—$950.00 later, now I really am in the hole. So do your checking to see if it's a true claim.

They pass your information to about 30 different lenders, and then they constantly call you 24/7. I wanted to borrow $25,000 in a line of equity, meaning that I might not use the money at all. Right off the bat, they wanted to charge me $3,125 plus 10% interest on the $25,000, even if I didn't use it. Don't trust these types of companies; they're worse than an untrustworthy used car salesman back in the '70s. You're better off if you can pay it back in a year to borrow it against a credit card at 0% interest.
