I felt as if I was lied to and misled. The sales person was nice but whoever they had on the recorded line was rude. There are many places who lend money with a much lower rate, who are honest. The bad thing is I had a loan before from them I paid off early , my credit is better now, higher income now, but wouldn’t approve me. I wouldn’t waste my time with lending tree.

Richard Shiller is who I worked with two times. Both times Richard was kind. He was friendly, funny at times,. But most importantly he was professional!! I would highly recommend Royal United n Richard Shiller. He showed me all my options. He answered all my questions, some probably twice. He also put all my fears to bed. Richard is awesome.

I have no clue where they got my information from. I'm all of a sudden receiving calls and emails from many lenders because of Lending Tree stating I applied for a large loan. They used my maiden name and I wouldn't apply for a loan under my maiden name let alone my information at all because I no longer work, as I stay home with our children. I wouldn't trust this site for future loans if we do ever need any because of this.

Contacted me often - to the point of irritation. Applied with one of the lenders and 2 and a half week later no response - too slow and unorganized.

BEWARE, LENDING TREE IS CARELESS WITH YOUR PRIVATE INFO!!! We just received a letter from Lending Tree "apologizing" for leaking my husband's name, address, birthdate and SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER! We have NEVER done any business with Lending Tree and have no idea how they obtain all this personal info about my husband. As a result of their carelessness, our bank account was hacked, requiring us to close out our account and take all kinds of measures to secure our funds. The hacker also opened another account in a different bank under my husband's name and attempted to open a couple of credit cards under his name. This has been a nightmare for us because of Lending Tree's carelessness with information they had no business having in the first place!!! The best they can do is to "offer" identity protection to us for two years. Well, the info is already out there...IT'S KIND OF LATE TRYING TO PROTECT OUR INFO NOW!

If I had a choice for no stars, that would be my choice. I wish I would have read the honest reviews about this “amazing service” before I provided my PII. For someone that has an Experian Auto Score 8 of 862 and a credit application approval through Ford for 1.49% APR, this service said only one lender would offer a loan with an interest rate of 4.99%. Are you serious?! I had listened to the advertisements and figured the loan offers would be competitive against Ford Credit. From what I have read in the reviews on this site, others are disgusted too by the results and constant contacts from lenders who were not even listed in the “offers.” Once again, we place our trust in a service only to experience the classic bait and switch tactic. The experience that I had was a complete slap in the face. I hope people read this before trusting this service.

then that means you clearly dont have the score you think you do. Its an advertisements ever heard of "results may vary" and clearly you didn't read the fine print. Because YOU had a bad experience doesn't mean you should deter others from using the service. Its quite accurate and honestly you clearly did READ the terms and agreement. Stop blaming them. YOU get the results you qualify for and clearly YOU DONT

My credit score is 791, relatively good. They knew this and quoted me a 4.99% would be a likely rate with a few of their banks. So I applied. The only rates I got back were 7.99% and 10.99%. Total bait and switch. Would not recommend. I went with a local credit union who confirmed this is a pretty normal practice for Lending Tree banks.

Bait and Switch! Bait and switch auto insurance quotes. companies provided 1 quote on your site then at the time of completion they double the price. we had a comprehensive quote from our local state farm and went to your site to compare. quotes came back on your site a little cheaper then double when we tried to complete the insurance. this was so stressful and frustrating I will run from your company and tell all my friends and family to run from your company. It was so bad I want to make a youtube channel telling the world how horrible my experience was. Hopefully, no one else will have the experience i had with you. predatory/vulture website. RUN PEOPLE RUN!!!

Avoid at all costs unless you want to be harassed forever. I signed up to see what types of loans I could get, cancelled and asked them to delete my data, and it was still too late. They gave out all of my contact information from the application to their network and now my contact info is constantly being shared. I get calls, texts, and emails daily from different lenders/sharks and this has been going on for over 9 months.

Using their service to check rates will absolutely result in a hard inquiry and raise your credit scores! They say their soft inquiries don't result in a hard hit or ding to your credit score, which is true. But buried in the fine print, literally the very last sentence, they tell you the lenders they recommend may run a hard inquiry. When I complained to customer service their response (5 days later) was to email me the terms of use with the last sentence highlighted. Definitely avoid this service.
