Very disappointed with how Logix Federal Credit Union handled my situation after being a longtime member with a strong payment history.
A representative originally told me over the phone when my account was just a few days late that late payments are not reported unless they reach 60 days past due. Relying on that information, I did not realize a 30-day late would be reported. The moment I understood the seriousness of the issue, I immediately addressed the account.
What became even more concerning was that when I brought this up to the department handling the matter, I was initially told they would pull the recorded call and provide it to me. Later, I was told the recording could not be found.
This issue has been ongoing since March 2025 and despite multiple attempts to resolve it professionally and directly, I’ve been met with very little accountability or willingness to fairly review the circumstances.
One 30-day late mark can significantly impact someone’s credit, especially when it stems from misinformation provided by the institution itself. I expected much better communication, transparency, and customer care from a credit union that claims to value long-term relationships. Filling a complaint with CFPB hopefully they will help get this resolved.

Logix's tagline "Smarter Banking" implies they are superior to other banks. However, our five-month ordeal was far from it; in fact, it was the worst customer experience and it is still ongoing. I recently assisted my father-in-law in obtaining a HELOC. He is a veteran with excellent credit, no debt, owns two homes, and has more than enough income to qualify. Our issue lay in the appalling service from loan officers and behind-the-scenes staff, who, while apologizing for incompetence, did nothing to improve the situation. The service involved not responding to emails or phone calls inquiring about the status of the HELOC. When they finally reached out requesting various information, promises made were never fulfilled. An excessive number of documents were asked for at various times. In some cases, documents that were provided and acknowledged as received were asked for again. To top it off, at the final hour, Logix required us to open a regular checking account with $10 in order to finally get the HELOC. Now, a month later, they are telling us we must deposit $1000 into it.

I was ready to give this location a one-star review, but after taking a moment to reflect, I realized it's a five-star experience in disguise.
Have you ever had one of those days when you go to deposit money into an ATM, only to have the system glitch out and reboot before recognizing your deposit? That was my morning. I stood there as the machine's screen looked like something out of an episode of Black Mirror: it went blank, lines flickered across it, all after it had already rejected one of my creased $100 bills.
I stood there in disbelief, wondering, "Where is my $400?"
I went inside to ask for help. Bree was the first person I encountered, and I have to admit, she seemed insensitive, uncaring, and looked at me as if I wasn't speaking the same language (I was, for the record). I explained the problem, and she simply told me to get in line and make a claim. I was concerned about the machine powering up again, with people waiting behind me, and the possibility of my card or money being spat out. Bree stated it was "unlikely." In my world, however, "unlikely" happens more often than not. So, I went back outside, watching the ATM's screen cycle through a blank, then a white background, then an '80s-era icon signaling a system restart, complete with a green loading bar like a video game powering up or unlocking a new life.
I went back inside. Bree still seemed to view my problem as no big deal. At that moment, I was just thankful I didn't need that $400 to pay off a pressing debt, or worse.
Jason, the manager, returned from a break, and I told him what happened. Then Shanna joined the conversation. She directed me to one of the outside tellers (there were three) who knew the claim process, and she would oversee it. Jason, as always, was caring and empathetic—a consistent positive. The other manager, however, seemed to have her sentiments and offerings of consolation recorded on magnetic tape.
Shanna followed through. She stood by while Alex, who I'd now dealt with twice that day, meticulously asked specific questions about my interaction with the ATM.
I wasn't happy. I heard repeatedly that the bank staff had zero access to the ATM and couldn't service the machines themselves. It was then that I truly realized they are human beings, not a compassionate AI system. They are limited by their life experiences and all the things that make us human. I, too, am limited by my own life, and I probably did a fair amount of "reading in" to the entire experience.
My initial thought was to contact the VP, Steve, whom I've known for a long time. In my accustomed world, consequences would be severe. But I decided that calmer heads needed to prevail. I took time to reflect on everything that had happened and chose to give Logix Credit Union this 5-star rating.
I've had similar experiences with other institutions like LAPFCU, Bank of America, Citi Bank, and Chase—maybe not with their ATMs, but certainly when I felt I had been treated less than delicately.
They have a job to do. They aren't Elon Musk, Sam Altman, or their kind. My expectations are simply too high for those working at various financial institutions; I needed to calm down. This review is about them, but even more, it's about my own decisions and perspective. I'm reminded that I'm thankful I didn't need that $400 at that exact moment for a life-saving medical procedure for myself or my kids, or to prevent a utility shut-off, or to stave off an eviction. I'm incredibly thankful to have the right to write this and the intelligence, and God-fearing nature, to turn the lens back on myself.
So, here's to Logix Credit Union in the Lowe's shopping center in Valencia, CA. Kudos to Bree, Jason, Shanna, and Alex. May you all stay blessed and have great careers working for LOGIX.
As for me, I've learned never to interact with any ATM, no matter what. Unless, of course, all bank personnel are eventually replaced by AI, but that's another story entirely.

I have a loan that is very low. Logix has used every avenue to declare my loan in default. They have been claiming that when I deposited 1.5 million dollars as a judgment, it should not count as income, so they can claim a default based on the loan-to-income ratio. I will not get a loan from them anymore.

I love how they send out notifications via app about company event days and when the office will be closed, and so on. Where is the notification that we were not going to have access to our own money, or access to the Logix website or app? Who do we contact after hours? What options do we have to still access our money? There should be ways online to unlock and lock a card, not just through the app. This hinders my ability to make necessary purchases. I have been a customer for about 7 to 9 years—you can do better. In today's world, updates should not interfere with the app or website or the access to my own funds. I still need to access my money.

To be fully transparent, here’s what happened: AT&T lines into our building were unexpectedly cut, disrupting online banking, eStatements, and digital services. While transactions were still possible through other channels, digital access was temporarily impacted.
Although we posted alerts, we did not send an email or app notification, as we were concerned about sending outdated information. In hindsight, we realize that even a general notification would have been better than no communication at all.
We understand how disruptive this was and regret the lack of clear updates. Your feedback has been shared with our CEO, and we are taking steps to improve our communication in the future.

Absolutely terrible. I'm paying 17.9% interest and no one informed me at Logix. Other credit unions are only charging 11%. Do not use this credit union's credit cards. Absolutely the worst.

A number of years ago, they changed their payment due date and charged me two late fees, even though I had made early payments well above the minimum. When I called to discuss this, I was put on speakerphone for the whole office to hear, which was quite embarrassing. I will never go back and have advised many other Lockheed employees who were customers to do the same. All of my other bank/credit union reviews were positive, but these people do not deserve a pass. You may also find that either they share your contact information or someone passed along their customer list. I received several solicitations 'as a Logix member'.

Sjay is the one. Sjay was sent from above. He not only fulfills his job by answering every single question, but even through a phone screen, you can feel how understanding he is.
