I had been with Logic since they were Lockheed FCU. My biggest disappointment was when they started adding minimum balance fees. With so many other credit unions that don’t have minimum requirements, it became obvious they were not the best choice anymore. It’s a shame since customer service was always a strong point. I can’t see using them again since they are now more bank like instead of a credit union.

Thank you for your feedback, and for your several years of membership. We completely understand the disappointment with having a minimum balance fee. Our goal is to do everything we can to offer competitive and affordable solutions, and offer options that strengthen our relationship and waive the fees for you.
Unlike other institutions that impose a Low Balance fee solely for the main savings account, currently Logix has no fee associated with that limitation. Instead, we offer members the flexibility to combine the total balances of their Savings, Checking and Money Market, as well as outstanding Loan Balances to account for the minimum $1,000 required by the last day of the month and avoid the $5 Low Balance fee. The fee is also waived for members who are age 24 and under, members who have a brokerage relationship with Logix Financial Services, new accounts, as well as members that qualify for our Relationship Rewards program. In other words, the stronger our relationship, the more advantages you’ll enjoy.
We do understand that our rate and fee structures may not suite the needs of everyone. We have made every effort to create a credit union which rewards active membership. With this in mind, we hope that you'll consider staying a Logix member, but understand if we are no longer the right fit for your financial needs. I requested to closed my savings account on 1/15/2021....As of today 1/31/2021 they blame the USPS for the delay. They tell me if I won't send another check, I have to fill out papers and have them notarized. I should stayed with a big bank, They are probably strapped with cash and want to keep my money longer. To come to their office would take me one hour each way. Lousy, lousy bank

$10 surcharge for over phone payments during Covid, disappointing. Had to change my monthly payment amount in order to avoid surcharge. Then a second call is required to reset the amount after payment is posted. Most likely this will cost Logix more in labor than to have just waved the fee, one thing is for certain I'm done participating in business with Logix.

While we do our best to waive as many fees as we can for our members, the truth of the matter is, that is not always possible. The good news is we have a free option available for you to use! You are able to make a payment through Online Banking or the Mobile App without any charge.
With regards to the second call, you mentioned, this is not typically required. I would like to look into this further. Mtge & Credit Card,, I own real estate worth 2.5 million dollars, with only $250,000 debt. Logix mtge dept screwed me around for 4 months before turning me down. Credit card limit has not been raised in years. I have a perfect pmt record, no late pmts and always pmt in full. Logix decision makers are a bunch of morons.

Recently was putting in a personal check in the drive through ATM at the west side of town at logic bank in Palmdale California. Half way through the transaction the ATM decided to crash with my ATM card stuck in it and would not release it and it had my personal check from a buyer from my recently sold vehicle stuck in it. Then it started rebooting and crashed again and then completely shut down. Now i am sitting there in the car with a crashed and shut off ATM machine next to me on a Sunday July 26, 2020 and have no debit card because the machine won't release it and my deposit inside their machine with no proof i put it in there. No receipt for this $6000.00 check I just put in there. Couldn't believe this was happening to me. Called the next day on Monday to their call center at logic bank and said they would do an investigation on it. But i knew i was in trouble because i used to work for a business that processed checks and we got thousands and thousand of checks each and everyday. and sometimes it could take 2-3 months to match an account to a lone floating check in the receiving center and since we had about 25 employees...it could be on any of their desks being processed. I knew i was in trouble because when the company did clean the check center we had we would find at least 5-6 checks that were under the machines that processed these checks.

Account numbers, either for checking or savings accounts, identify your individual account. Even if you hold two accounts at the same bank, the account number of your savings account will be different from that of your checking account. Other than identifying the specific account, the difference between these two numbers is irrelevant.
Thank you for your question. The minimum balance in a Savings Account is only $5, but we gather you are asking why there is a monthly service fee if the balance is less than $1,000. We do offer a variety of easy ways to avoid that fee. Before we address how, it's best we first address your specific question: Since we are cooperatively owned by all of the people who bank with us, we must avoid creating a situation in which one group of members is subsidizing another group of members. We make every effort to ensure all memberships are contributing positively to the overall health of the credit union, and this sometimes means charging a fee if it costs more to maintain an account than the benefit the account brings to the cooperative.
But, as mentioned above, there are many ways to avoid paying this fee even if you don't keep $1,000 in your savings account. The one most members take advantage of is our Relationship Rewards program which only requires $10,000 in combined loan and deposit balances. Almost every banking customer in the US has some combination of $10,000 in loans or deposits, so it can be extremely easy to avoid the fee while simultaneously enjoying all of the perks of membership like world-class service and fantastic rates. That said, we do recognize that not every person is willing to have such a relationship with Logix, and that's why we still offer membership even without combined balances of $10,000, albeit with the monthly fee to ensure that our other members are not subsidizing the account.
