Worst part about Marriott is their Credit Union. Its the worst CU. Marriott needs to stick to hotel operation and forget about banking services. We appreciate you establishing this service for employees n their families, but you're all not getting it. Shut it down. Wish you all would get some advice from NFCU on how to operate a CU.

This is the absolute worst credit union over. I am out of town with my family on a mini vacation, and my debit card is declining for no apparent reason. I only used it one time today, and that was for 8.00 at McDonald's. They keep trying to come up with every excuse to why it's not working instead of researching a solution. So now I'm out of town with my family and no cash or money what so ever, and the only thing they can tell me is to wait til Monday to talk to somebody. Please stay away from this place.

I work at a shared branch location of Marriott and was trying to help one of our memebers with a car loan. I received the worst customer service by the lady answering the phones at Marriott. When I asked to speak to a manager she hung up on me. What kind of institution conducts business this way. Very unprofessional way to lose business relationships.

Customer service is HORRIBlE! My one year old mistakenly ordered items on ebay because my acct is linked I was charged 65.0£ ret fees! While ebay refunded me my bank told me they will not remove the fees! I will be removing my money first thing after I get off work!

DO NOT JOIN!! DO NOT JOIN!! Too many fees. Horrible customer service. They have some b.s. check hold policy where they hold your check for 6 days. I deposited a check from Bank of America and they put a six day hold on it. They said they couldn't verify the funds. What? They need to change their outdated banking practices.

I had the required funds in my primary savings account to be above minimum balance. I also have a car loan, and even though I have never once had a late payment, they transferred a payment from savings to loan without asking me. This took me below the minimum balance, so then they started charging me $3/mo because of that. I didn't notice for a few months because I don't bank from this account at all. When I called, they said too bad. Too bad for them...I'm now paying off the loan and closing all accounts...they will never get my business. And I will post this review anywhere I can find a place. Nice institution that basically steals its customers' money.

I had never banked with a credit union prior to signing up with MEFCU and, after joining, I can't believe I waited this long!

I have used many different banks throughout my lifetime but this is by far the best experience I have had. The standard features offered are enough to make a customer sign up with this credit union, but the customer service provided when I got into a bind is what will keep me banking with them.

A large payment I had forgotten about hit my account, and this was going to leave my account too short to cover an important check I had written. (My rent check!) I contact the branch to ask them what I could do in this situation, because I could not have my rent check bounce! Since I did not have a savings account opened to provide overdraft protection I felt that I was up a creek without a paddle... I was going to be around $300 short.

The representative listened to my concerns and really understood how serious the situation was to me. They ended up covering the overage so my check wouldn't bounce and, because it was my first time over drafting, they even waved the fee I received!

No other organization I have banked with would have given me a no interest $300 loan. This was really going above and beyond for me as the customer. Not only did they save me the embarrassment of a bounced check, but saved me the fees associated as well.

This level of customer service will keep me banking with them, and look to them first for any other bank services. I cannot recommend them enough!
