Very knowledgeable professional staff at this credit union. I would give it a ten star but that doesn't exist in this format. No long wait time

HORRIBLE customer service - Haverhill branch. I have been locked out of my online portal and can't for the life of me remember my username, password or security questions and the website directs you to call or go to local branch to recover the account. In addition to this I am looking to finance a car for the first time and was looking for some advice my credit score and what steps would need to be taken to start the process of building credit if needed. I left with no help to either of my problems. I will be withdrawing from this bank due to the poor poor service I received. They refused to help me with the online portal simply told me to try at home (really just seemed too lazy to help me with it). Then, all that was relayed to me in regards to buying a car was MVFCU loan options and they stated they have no ability to access credit scores which is hilariously interesting seeing as they are a CREDIT UNION AND PROVIDE LOANS. They told me I would need to know the car before they did anything. Basically, made me feel like I was extremely unprepared when all I wanted was advice BEFORE starting the process. I guess this day in age google is more helpful than a live customer service team. SUCH A SHAME.

I have been a customer with Merrimack Valley Federal Credit Union for my entire life. I have both a savings and checking account. I've also taken out a car loan and a Certificate of Deposit, and I used their investment services to jumpstart my investment portfolio. The employees are always very helpful, and I've never had a single problem with my accounts. After hearing about all the fees and problems that occur at many of their competitors, I am so glad that I use a credit union that I can trust. I certainly recommend opening an account and/or utilizing their loan and investment services. I know that I will be a customer for life!

Merrimack Valley Federal Credit Union is one of the two credit unions I use and I can truly say that I am satisfied. They do just more than offer money and loans. It's one of the only places that offer a rapport. I've never ran into any trouble in the past and I'm 100% sure I will not in the near future. Every teller is friendly and highly trained. I'm glad I'm feel valued when I do business.

Merrimack Valley has to be one of the more popular credit unions in this area. The customer service is great. They are all very nice. They are more than willing to help you in anyway and answer any questions you might have.
They are local so it was very easy to come and go without going miles out of my way. I honestly have not looked for them in other areas so I can't comment on how convenient it is to find them elsewhere.
I did not have any issues with hidden fees and surprises but I have not been there in a while and their fees may have changed at this point.

I've been a member of this Credit Union for the past 7 years and they are absolutely the best. Any issue I have with something showing up on my statements and they will take care of everything as fast as possible. Last year I had some fraudulent charges coming from a company I had stopped dealing with. The Credit Union was able to put stop payments out and contacted the company on our behalf.

The staff is very friendly and they work efficiently to get customers in and out as fast as possible. The only other bank in our immediate area isn't even half as good as our local credit union and it's a big time national chain.
