Less than one star. My husband and I have taken out 5 personal loans through these folks...all were good except the most recent. They don't give you a payment book, won't send you statements, they don't email statements; and getting a payoff amount is nearly impossible. If you're a minute late on your monthly (which I hate to admit, happens...wish MY monthly was that reliable), their collectors call the next day and are rude, threatening to repo your stuff and give you no option to pay while you're on the phone with them....unless you want to pay $30. If you want to pay online from an outside bank, they charge you $15 per payment, but if you have a loan, not an account, you're not a member so there is no way to avoid fees unless you want to bank with them. Not only will they never get our checking and savings business, for our business and personal banking, we will never take out another loan with them. Ever.

Minnco Credit Union Reviews
What's Your Rating?
The building is full of light and brings forth a sense of “welcome”. My local Wells Fargo is dark and feels unfriendly.
The fees at Minnco are better than the fees at Wells Fargo too. Also, the online banking portion is helpful in keeping track of my current balances and works great on my cell phone.
Ten years later and after a few banking fiascos with Wells Fargo and US Bank due to moving around the country, I've returned my checking account to Minnco. Time hasn't changed a thing. The staff is as friendly as ever. I never have any problems with my account. Their online banking is straightforward and easy to use.
I highly recommend you get your checking account taken care of at Minnco if you live in Minnesota.
