after my issue was resolved! WHY not have your representatives state on phone message that they will be out of office. VERY stressful to encounter this when needing assistance! Then their customer service reps are not very well trained at giving you needed information. I have a zelle transaction issue, I was informed by not one but three reps that i needed to contact zelle...i did they indicated that my issue needed to be resolved by the credit union. I am going back and forth with no resolution to my problem and of course no reply from the officer at branch! I am closing my account with them asap due to these same issues....do not put your money in these peoples hands!!!
I was rate shopping for a new vehicle and a credit card and applied for an account at Postal Credit Union, which, unbeknownst to me, was bought out by Neighborhood Credit Union. I also applied at Texell Credit Union, where I was approved. I never obtained a vehicle from Neighborhood Credit Union, but the manager in the loan department, Crystal, referenced my application with Neighborhood. I was unaware that my refinance loan had been denied because the loan officer, Tiana, never responded.
I declined the extended warranty and gap insurance. Even though they claimed it wasn't the reason for the denial, it appears that way. I have no other reason to be denied, as I have good credit and income. It doesn't make sense to me. I mentioned I would reach out to my father, who works for a law firm, and she threatened to hang up on me. She said she would send it back to underwriting and questioned why I didn't live in their city and who referred me. It seems that the moment you upload your license and they see you're African American, they scrutinize your background further.
I will be reporting this behavior to the FCRA, CFPB, the Texas Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau. This kind of discriminatory practice must stop. I hope the individuals involved are held accountable, including the person they are protecting in the underwriting department.
I've purchased every car I've owned from NCU. Their banking loans seem to be the ones that work for me. Member for 36 years. THANKS
THEY ARE THERE WHEN I NEED THEM.. I WISH THEY WOULD KEEP UP MY PAYMENT HISTORY WITH CREDITORS WHO SAY THEY DON'T. TRANSUNION. PLEASE
Best financial institution I have ever used. I recommend them highly. customer service is excellent. Locations are really good too!
