Not a place to keep your money when paid large amounts at once, even real estate. They hold any checks over $7,000, although other major institutions verify they will clear for the sell of a home, etc. it’s happened to us so many times here that we are switching after decades.

Oklahoma Central Federal Credit Union has been absolutely awesome to me! When my mom passed a little over two years ago and I had to pay for her funeral expenses because she had no life insurance, and I had gotten two months behind on my car payments, I went in and sat down with my loan officer and the manager. I explained to them exactly what was going on, what I was able to do, and when I would be able to get my auto loan caught up. They placed the two car payments I was behind at the end of my loan and worked with me. They did not repossess my car. And for that, and for those wonderful people having a heart of compassion for me and working with me during one of the most traumatic times in my life, I am beyond grateful to them. From that day to May 2024, I've never missed a single payment! Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for taking a chance on me. I am grateful and thankful beyond words.

Lending staff apparently don't know what they are doing. I had a conversation with a representative at the CU and had questions about HELOC loans. Based on that conversation, I specifically applied for a fixed HELOC loan and checked the box that indicated Manufactured Home. It took 2-3 weeks for the lending officer to tell me, "We don't do these types of loans." Thank you for wasting my time. Dissatisfied customer.

They are trying to steal our father's bank account. We have a durable POA and Trust and now when he is on his death bed, they won't let us have access. "Get us his signature to access funds!" HE'S DYING! They are heartless!

I've been with OK Central credit union for over 40 years,my ex and I had several car loans, with a less rate. I've also had car loans by myself with them, because I made good money. Because of sickness with an infectious ,life threatening bacteria in my colon for over 10 years, they allowed 2 payments a year, to miss payment. I contacted them yesterday to see if I could refinance the car. the car is worth $14,000, and I owe less than that after this months payment. They told me to try a few more months, and they may be able to get lower rate. need better credit score.After being diagnosed with serious condition, I had to take a loan out, because I couldn't work, I was in trials for my disease.

I give this company a 0 ZERO, I got a notice from a insurance company that the bank had added insurance to property I sold in November of 2020, I call insurance company and told them I cancelled insurance because I had sold property. I owed nothing on the loan at OCCU. Then I called the bank and told them I sold the property in November and that is why I cancelled insurance. The bank refunded only the amount after I called them after I called the insurance company and kept $250 some dollars and refused to give it back. I cancelled my account. I'm sure they didn't care, but won't do business with THIEVES!

They don’t even deserve one star but since it makes me ... Never!!! NEVER use the OKLAHOMA CENTRAL CREDIT UNION even just for a loan, my car was totaled I put money in 3 days before my car payment was due & wrecked my car the day before my payment & they will not give my car payment back & that’s stealing bc you pay your payment then get to drive you car the next month well I don’t get to bc some kid hit me & that bank don’t care. I’ve hated this bank since iv been with them just all over my car payment, I bank through Arvest but that bank had lower interest so I put a loan through them but then here they are screwing me over. So just for the people that bank there I’d recommend BETTER BANK!

I have been banking at OCCU, back when it was known as Wiltel. I have always received excellent customer service at every branch that I have visited. I also have my children's accounts with this credit union. Anytime whether in the lobby or through the drive thru, I always receive a greeting by name which makes me feel special. The loan officers that I have dealt with are always courteous and will actually discuss your venture with you, instead of being all business. I will continue banking here for the long run. A credit Union is the only way to go.

We were customers of Oklahoma Central Credit Union when we lived in Tulsa Hills and found the local branch to be perfect for our banking needs. Sadly, we moved away from the area for work reasons or I would have been happy to remain with them. We had both a checking and savings account with them, neither of which we had any issues with although as I recall, the original sign up process was quite lengthy and arduous.
They had at least 7 or 8 branches in Tulsa itself which was really useful, most of which had access to drive through ATM machines and their staff was always helpful and knew the business well. I'd definitely recommend them.

I've been with Oklahoma Central Credit Union for 16 years now. It was the first bank I used. I now live on the east coast and I have kept my Oklahoma Central Credit Union account open and still use it because they have always been good to me. While it has been a while since I banked there in person everyone was always very personal. I've gone through one fraud problem where someone stole my identity and they were extremely helpful. They refunded the stolen money, issued me a new card and had everything resolved very quickly. I highly recommend them!

I used to have an account with Oklahoma Central Credit Union when I lived in that state and would still if I could easily use them from all the way over here on the west coast. They are good people and took really good care of me when I was there. I never once had any kind of trouble with them and that’s rare. Most the time you find some odd charge when dealing with banks but these guys always let me know up front what charges where almost like they didn't want to try to make any money off of me. it’s really nice to know that people like them are out there. I highly recommend them to you and think anyone who needs a bank should check them out.

My experience with Oklahoma Central Credit Union has been wonderful. They have excellent customer service and all the tellers have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. This is the only place where I have wanted to do all my banking in person because I have a lot of confidence in the staff and get the help I need when I need it. It was also so easy to set up the accounts and everything was explained every step of the way, including interest earning rates and the online banking. They even set us up for the online portion while we were there to save us time. A wonderful credit union with convenient locations and friendly staff!

My experiences with this credit union have been phenomenal! I've been with this credit union since I was about sixteen years old, and at twenty-five I'm very glad I stayed with them. OKCU is always very clear, concise, and prompt with everything they do. They are also incredibly polite! They answer any question to the best of their ability and are always happy to bring a question that they aren't sure of to a higher-up; nothing ever takes long to work through. Their online website and mobile banking are also wonderful; their site is clearly set up, easy to use, and very easy to get information on. I get statements in my email that are always on time, and my electronic deposits and bill-pay are always taken care of promptly and precisely. I don't have to worry a single bit, as long as I'm with them. They've taken care of everyone in my family since the 1970's!
