If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They don't take money out right away, and then charge us for "insufficient funds" constantly. It takes an excessive amount of time for money to be withdrawn, and no other financial organization handles transactions this poorly. It feels predatory and incompetent on their part. Go elsewhere if you can.

I am a woman-owned small business. Just yesterday, I received a call from my branch informing me that the Boulder Branch did not follow protocols and allowed a fraudulent check to be cashed. I had to shut my clinic down and rush to the bank to sign and notarize an affidavit. When I arrived, Karyna Torres refused to notarize the document, accusing me of causing a clearly fake check to be cashed by their employee who didn't follow their own protocols. Worst bank ever.

I just tried to get help with a financial problem that my business is having with an account holder of theirs. They essentially refused to help me and were very sarcastic and unapologetic about it. Bad customer service, I do not recommend them for business maybe they do better with personal service. I see they already have a low rating anyway. I would give zero stars, but I had to at least give one in order to rate. They get a zero from me.

You will regret choosing this bank. Since Sunflower merged with Guardian Mortgage, the service quality has deteriorated. I utilized the branch in Pueblo, Colorado, and found the staff unhelpful. All business transactions must pass through their compliance department, which can take two to three weeks. I recommend avoiding this bank for your own benefit.

We searched for a bank for years that would provide a specialized account for our multi-family rentals dealing with the Department of Agriculture. Capital Bank (Chemung) was the first to meet our needs because it was 1) in our area, so we didn't have to travel far; 2) offered the DACA account as required by our federal agency; 3) could handle management located in several locations in a straightforward manner; 4) offered excellent banking personnel for a variety of other accounts to efficiently manage them; and 5) provided online banking so we could transfer funds as needed. An excellent bank, we highly recommend them—they solved many issues we faced when dealing with the federal government.

Jacque, Sam, Angelica, Keshia, and Aubrey are the best and all need a raise in pay for all the hard work they do. I give them all a 10+. They always have big smiles on their faces when we come into the bank. They are great and wonderful people.

Terrible experience. I brought my disabled uncle into this bank to get help after my grandmother, his mother, passed away. We presented the death certificate, as I needed to obtain some information from the bank to send to my mom, who is the executor and handling the finances for the attorney. My mom lives 10 hours away, and I wanted to do this favor for her since we are all going through a lot right now. The bank's initial response was "We can't talk to you, only to him since he is the beneficiary." They refused to answer any of my questions, which was problematic since he has difficulty communicating due to his disability. I ended up texting the questions to him that I needed for my mom, because they wouldn't speak to me directly. They took the death certificate and informed us it would take about 2 hours to process before they could respond to my uncle's inquiries.
We decided to visit another bank, which was more accommodating, answered my questions, closed the account, issued a check to my uncle, and remained incredibly nice and friendly throughout the process. When we returned to the first bank to check on their progress, they were still processing. Although we were initially quoted 2 hours, we waited in the lobby. After approximately 2.5 hours, the manager approached us and stated it could take up to 7 business days. This information was not provided upfront. As a busy medical student who drove from over 2 hours away to assist my disabled uncle, I would have made different plans had I known the actual timeframe. Needing to return home to study, I left. Later, Sunflower Bank called my uncle to inform him the check was ready. Yet when he went to collect it, they still refused to answer his questions. On a previous visit, we were told a death certificate was needed, which my mom had already emailed, but the bank refused to communicate with her on the phone or provide any information.
In summary, the staff here seem incompetent and uninformed about their own policies and timeframes. They also refuse to communicate with the family members of disabled clients. I would give this bank 0 stars if I could.

So bad! I have banked with this bank for 20 years, wanting to support local banking rather than a big bank. Unfortunately since they were taken over by Sunflower Bank from Texas, the quality of service has plummeted. The app regularly fails, the phone service doesn’t know what they are doing, and they are much less personally and community related. I have reluctantly made the decision to close all my accounts with them in order to get better banking services.

We have had a nightmare of a time with this bank. We needed a refund, and they did not make it convenient. After 14 phone calls and countless hours on the phone, we were told it would be two weeks before a paper check would be mailed. The local Spokane office is horrible, the customer service is awful, and their professionalism is lacking. We will be switching as soon as possible.

I have recently became a customer of Sunflower Bank in Waco tx. I find this bank very convenient for me and the online accounts are very accessible and easy to use. The staff in Waco is very pleasant an very knowledgeable. They have made suggestions to me that are in my best interest and that will earn me more on my investments than other banks in the area. I intend to increase my business with the bank in the very near future because they care about me.

Worst bank I have ever done business with. They steal money from your account and they're very rude when you call to get it back. I've had a fraudulent charge on my account for weeks and they refuse to help me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK TO ANYONE!

Entering the bank, I smell fresh coffee and see a table with donuts and pastries. There are two people working at desks that speak to me as if they know me very well although I rarely go to the bank. Most of my banking is done online. The desk that I use for deposit and withdrawal slips is very neat with all the slips needed, pencils, pens, calculator, calendar and a bowl of candies. I fill out the deposit slip and take it to the window. The cashier makes sure my deposits are correct; I have the correct information, and asks for my picture ID. Then she asks something about me such as how I like the weather, how's the traffic, what I'm planning for the weekend, etc. She completes the transaction, gives me the deposit slip documentation, asks if she can do anything else for me, and tells me to be sure to try the pastries and coffee since they are fresh. Then she tells me to have a nice day and drive carefully. The other women all smile as I leave. I feel very comfortable at the bank and wonder why I don't come more often.

Quality banking and business investments are practically non-existent during these harsh and unstable economic times. But my brother and I both decided to open a commercial checking account with Capital Bank, as we’ve recently started our own business. We chose them because they seemed to offer exactly the features we were looking for as small business owners; in addition they also offer free online banking and a very low interest rate. Since opening the account, we have been treated with such civility and courtesy. Not once have we had difficulty with customer service or the bank in general. We’re both more than confident that with Capital Bank, our business needs can be met and exceeded.
