I have had a terrific experience with TD Auto Finance's easy-opening account and the friendly people to talk with regarding my account. Overall, I had an incredible experience with TD Auto Finance. James Butcher.

Incredibly unprofessional. They charged me a late fee without warning and refused to take it off and hung up on me when I called. I called back and the same rep put me on hold for 10 minutes.

Worst Auto finance ever. Was sucked in to use them by the dealership. I took some time to read the other reviews and they are ALL understatements!!! Never mind the fact that they sell your info to other parties to be scammed.I normally don't write reviews but I want to advise anyone considering to use this bogus auto finance to please,don't be the fool I have been and DO NOT deal with these scammers.The grief and aggravation is not worth it. Please listen to my review and the others. You have been warned.

THE absolute worst auto finance company I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with in my 67 years. They lose important documents like car Titles without ever admitting it, and then offer NO help to obtain another. Once they know your phone # from your prior inquires, they will start asking absurdly detailed validation questions no one can answer in order to prevent you from furthering your inquiry, all under the guise of proving you are who you say you are. Everyone there must be brand new out of high school because no one seems to know what to do, so getting rid of you seems to be priority 1.

Scammers and spammers. Once they get your telephone number, they wall call you non-stop. Every day, all day. With all the options out there, read the reviews of this bank and do..not..use TD

Pretty cruel people. My mom died but they wouldn't allow us to change the title from her name to ours, and so they refused to talk to us and took the car even though we were still paying for it.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Terrible customer service would be a compliment for these people. Nobody knows anything, they always have to transfer you to someone else who doesn’t know anything. Expect to be on the phone for over an hour and only accomplish being more upset. Nothing more. Do yourself a favor, stay away from them. If I could have given them 0 stars I would have. I was required to give at least 1 star to post this.

If it was possible to give them 0 stars I would! They are the worst company I have ever dealt with! My husband bought a truck in 2020 & wanted to finance it thru our bank. The salesman told him they couldnt do it. We thought it was strange because he had excellent credit but went ahead & used TD Auto Finance because that was who the salesman said they used. We made all payments on time, never late or anything. My husband died suddenly in 2021. I called TD auto Finance & they told me to just keep making the payments & it would be ok. I asked if they could transfer the loan to my name, as I also have good credit & they said "No. Just keep making the payments & you will be fine" After more than a year of making the payments; on time; they suddenly sent me a letter telling me that since my husband was deceased, they could no longer accept payments from me & had closed the account. I asked , again, if they could transfer it to me & put my name on the account & they told me no. They told me I had to pay off the remainder of the loan in full, immediately. I I began just sending them payments by check which they accepted & cashed each month for 3 months. They then sent me another letter telling me that I had to either pay off the truck in full or they would take it. I called USAA Finance & they gave me a loan, at a better rate, that same day. They got all the info & approved me that day. I called TD & asked for the payoff amount. They told me the same payoff amount that they had told me when my husband had died over a year prior. I disagreed & they told me that was it; pay it or give the truck back. USAA overnighted them the check for the amount they had quoted & I have been making my payments to USAA for the past 3 months. Yesterday I got a check in the mail, made out to my husband, for the difference in the amount they had quoted & the ACTUAL payout amount. I tried to cash it but the bank couldnt cash it because it was made out to my husband! I called TD was on hold for a couple of hours , transferred to three different people & finally got someone who told me that they would have to cancel that check & make out a new one to USAA. They told me it could take a couple of weeks to do that & to call back in a couple of weeks if USAA didnt get the check! THIS COMPANY IS CRAP. DO NOT USE TD AUTO FINANCE!!!!

Been trying to get in touch to get my due date changed. Every message I sent through (their message center which is the only way to contact them by email), I get a canned message back telling me to CALL THEM. Capital One was happy to refinance my loan handled all online, except Capital One CALLED ME AND ONLY TOOK UP TEN MINUTES OF MY TIME. I WILL NO LONGER DO BUSINESS WITH COMPANIES THAT MAKE IT HARD TO CONTACT THEM. GOT A BETTER INTEREST RATE FROM CAPITAL ONE. TD AUTO FINANCE lost my business because they were to lazy to contact me.
