This card is extremely expensive to obtain and maintain. If you fall behind on payments, you cannot pay online and must call to have a live agent process the payment. Afterwards, you need to call again to regain online access. There are much better options than this card. Considering all the money one has to pay for the program fee, other fees, and monthly fees, making payments difficult by restricting online access is unreasonable. They've already earned their money.

Total was good when I needed to establish credit. Now, with decent credit, they won't raise my limit. They still charge the fee but won't send me a new card, since the old one expired, unless I send them a copy of my bank statement because I moved. I make the payments. It seems like a company that just wants to collect your fee every month, knowing you won't cancel because of the impact on your credit report.

Total Visa does not believe I was a victim of identity theft, and they are still charging my closed account. They say I am responsible. I've sent them all the information, including the police report. They still say I wasn't hacked. Bad company.

RUN, don't walk away from this card. I paid the balance in full via my debit card and when I checked to see if the payment had posted, four days after paying, it showed they received the money but didn't post it to my account. I called and talked to someone named Chris, who barely spoke English, and he confirmed they received the payment and have the money but since I didn't use a 'confirmed' payment method, it wouldn't post until 14 days after I made the payment. I asked to speak with the supervisor, John, and he stated that paying by debit card is an 'unconfirmed' form of payment and if I had mailed them a check or cash, the payment would have posted immediately. Excuse me, but what? How is a piece of paper that can bounce a confirmed form of payment and a direct payment from my debit card isn't? They both confirm that they have the money, and I have proof that it was taken out of my checking account. Please make this make sense.

I suppose it's probably a good card for helping to establish or improve your credit score. However, their app and website are terrible. I literally wrote down my username and password, tried to sign in, and it would always say it was wrong. It finally became such an inconvenience that I just canceled the card and closed the account.

I found an error on my statement and they refused to help me with the situation. I was charged $199.00 after agreeing to $19.99. I returned the item as they suggested, unopened, and Total would not contend with the company.

The initial credit limit is low, but you can get a credit increase after 6 months. Payments turn into points for rewards that unlock after the account has been open for 6 months.

There was a payment made on October 9th. I was not informed about the payment not going through. Then, in the third week of October, I sent another payment before the due date, which was October 11, 2023. Another thing about the total is that they will not close your account once you pay. They're always looking for interest or something to tag you with so they can keep the account open. I just talked to them. I said I want to close the account. I took the card, chopped it up, and sent it back to get them to understand. I do not want your card.Total Visa the worst company that one can ever deal with.
