If I could write less than one star, I would, as this is a terrible company. They knew I fell into hard times; I was the only one working since my husband was medically indisposed. I communicated this to them and emailed my plans to catch up on my car payments. Yet, on December 18, 2025, at 3:21 AM, while I was sleeping, they sent a repossession company to take my car from my property. I only know the time because my security cameras captured the event at 3:21 AM. They sent a company to repossess my car without my permission. I had no knowledge that the repossession had even been authorized. When I called to find out the amount needed to retrieve my car, they constantly changed the figures. When I attempted to retrieve my belongings, they gave me the runaround about the vehicle's location. They committed multiple offenses, including criminal trespass, damage to my yard, driveway, and car, theft of property, and identity theft because my daughter's identification was inside the vehicle. Stay far away from this company; they do not cooperate as they claim. They even tried to convince me they would defer a month's payment if I paid a certain amount, but they never followed through. This company and the repossession company are a joke, and I am filing criminal charges against them.

I am a previous customer of United Auto Credit Corporation. During the time UACC serviced the loan, the company was exceedingly aggressive and demanding. I experienced a temporary financial setback, and the company would not work with me. They were overwhelmingly harassing. I refinanced my auto loan with another bank and pulled away from UACC. UACC is still reporting the loan as delinquent, even though they no longer service my auto loan. I have disputed this with them, as my credit score has dropped 59 points. They are not taking accountability for reporting to the credit bureaus and have not corrected the erroneous error. This has been the most frustrating company to work with. It has had a negative effect on my credit. I do not recommend United Auto Credit to anyone.

Horrible company that constantly calls your phone every single day and always offers resolutions that never actually assist the customer. I can expect poor handling, being that they are a part of Vroom, which had a file against them for fraudulently selling poor-condition cars. I want out from this company. Never doing business again after this one. My advice is to steer clear of companies like this.

Horrible company! We agreed on a settlement balance, and once the balance was paid, they proceeded to withhold the title of my vehicle for months. It was only given to me when I threatened legal action. After I received my title, and UACC and I were released from each other, they proceeded to report that I'm missing payments and that the account is still open on my credit report. Ridiculous scam of a company. Beware! They need to be audited immediately.

Do not use this company for commercial loans or vehicle loans! I repeat, do not use them; they charge me around 400 in interest a month. It has to be illegal. I am talking to my attorney about it now. However, I have a lot of loans, and this one is sketchy. They call the day the payment is due and harass you, threatening you with repossession the day after the payment is due. I was in a situation where I had to buy a used work vehicle immediately, and I purchased it. I'm trying to get other lenders to take the loan from them, but they keep increasing my amount even though I'm paying, and they change the payoff sum. Save yourself from this burden. I don't trust them, and I'm a very trustworthy guy. I deal with many banks and never thought I'd tie up with such a low-quality company, but I did. I work with approximately 35 other lenders on business matters. If someone were to ask me about United Auto Credit, I'd tell them exactly about my experiences and would encourage them to find another lender.

Account closed as of 5/15/2025. This needs to be removed from my account. It is affecting my credit score. They are a very nice company for loans and to work with. Just not on top of updating accounts.

Stay far away. Paid my vehicle off in full after 3 months. They are missing my $17,000. I've been "put on hold" and simply hung up on. Nobody knows anything here. Find my money. I sent all the banking proof.

They came and picked up my car, which is weird. Yes, I know I was late on my payments, But how is it that I owed them more money before, a And paid it.. And now that I owe them less, And they came and picked up my car? Make that make sense.

Terrible company with terrible customer service. They are just about as bad as the car salesmen selling the cars. They will blatantly lie to your face, knowing that most people don't know the law or their rights.

DO NOT USE. If I could give less than one star, I would. I reported this agency to the NY Attorney General. Every time I called, I received conflicting information, with many errors in the information they have on file. Despite multiple requests to have the payoff amount emailed to my address, because I found a better loan, they initially misspelled my email address, then delayed date it was to be sent and repeatedly sent it to an old email that I told them repeatedly was inactive. Then, they said my email address wasn't on file, even though two previous workers had confirmed it and read it back to me as being on file. In the meantime, every day of error and delay increased the payoff amount. This place is completely untrustworthy.

When I purchased a vehicle through them, everything was fine, or so I thought. As of today, I'm one day late. I called and told the woman that I get paid on Friday, yesterday, and that the money would be in the account at midnight tonight. However, today the calls started from 9 AM until 5 PM non-stop, sometimes three times in a row. They then leave a message saying there's an oversight that needs to be corrected and continue to call every 30 minutes. A few minutes ago, I was so frustrated that I asked them if they are so desperate that if they don't collect money from me right now, they will go bankrupt. I suggested they just come to take the truck. Worst company ever; stay away.

STAY AWAY! We purchased a vehicle last year from them. We were hit by a drunk driver on 12/1/24 and our car was totaled. Our insurance company paid them IN FULL on 1/8/25 AND United Auto Credit CASHED the check on 1/11/25. I have had conference calls with them and our insurance... nothing; UAC cannot find the money they received. What is the solution? They threaten to take us to court and repossess a car that was totaled! Our insurance even gave them proof of the check and it being cashed. I HOPE they take me to court because when I counter sue, we are entitled to 3X the original purchase price of the car in our state.
