i haven't gotten my checks in over 5 weeks. all i get is lies and promises and no action. i'm considering changing my bank. you stink as a bank. what more do i need to say that i get no help and no action. is that enough?

10 days to clear a bank cashiers check from Chase??? Ridiculous! They are living in the Stone Age. Also advising clients not to accept wire transfers! What??

I've had an account with Vectra Bank since I was a child. My parents and grandparents banked at Vectra. I chose to move to a credit union for two main reasons - (1) the fees are outrageous at Vectra. (2) the app is so crappy. It just shows your running balance, you have to go in to the bank to do all of your business.
I highly recommend Navy Federal Credit Union. None of the fees and charges of banks, free checks, etc. You can do all your financial business from the app. So impressed with Navy Fed.

I have used Vectra 3 times. HELOC, Construction Loan and Mortagage over the past 3 years. Had multiple problems with all 3 products. Very poor customer service. I've worked with multiple banks over the years and this by far is the worst experience in all 3 interactions. I will NEVER use Vectra again. I should have realized this after my first experience with them.

I paid off, in person, my home equity loan. Six weeks later I received a call asking where my payment was. I called them, e-mailed them numerous times, e-mailed the CEO, Bruce Alexander, and filed a complaint with the BBB. I have, in turn, waited three weeks for a phone call promised me to resolve this and received a thoughtful cut and paste, non-response to my complaint with the BBB.
In short, Vectra Bank has consistently failed to provide ANY customer support, never mind either good or bad support.

I have been a customer for 34 years and they sent me a cancellation of all my accounts. When I asked why I was told that they wouldn't tell me the reason just terms of service. I will find another bank but find this treatment totally unacceptable. This bank has progressively gotten worse in the last few years.

3 months on a refi so far. Told 4 weeks. $800 out of pocket. Told 0. Lack of communication. False information. Zero care for customers. Used online complaint tool for their company, reply didnt address my concerns at all. Worst experience ever. Even quicken loans has a better customer service team.

I currently have a checking account with Vectra Bank. I have had issues with them (they are a bank, and they handle my money, so it happens), but every time something has com up, they are willing to work with me and fix it. One time my balance went negative and a lot of fees were applied before I caught it. Unlike the last bank I had an account with, Vectra Bank applied a credit toward my account and made sure to stay in contact with me until it was resolved. I haven't had any other problems. I do wish there were more locations though.

I have been an account holder with Vectra Bank for over 25 years. My parents opened a savings account when I was child at our local Vectra Bank. Whenever I have had a problem with any issue, the customer service department has always been very helpful and resolved my issue quickly. I once had a deposit not show up in my account however; a representative resolved the issue within a few hours. Vectra Bank branches are always clean and friendly. The employees usually try to help the customer as much as they possibly can. I plan on banking with Vectra for many years to come.
