My family and I have used this bank as a local alternative to the national chains. This bank has many branches in Orange County, NY; anyone who lives in the New York City Metropolitan Region knows that having this type of convenience is essential. A lot of the branches have undergone changes and now offer drive-thru banking, further upping the ante.
If the convenience and being a 'local supporter' isn't enough, look to the service. The tellers and other employees are very helpful and welcoming. Extended banking hours are offered on Thursday and Friday which comes in clutch. The only issue that this bank has is account security --- it seems as though accounts associated with the bank are illegally accessed more often than should be the case. While this can be a large inconvenience, the bank will work with you and refund all lost cash.
