I have been a customer at Weokie for 4 years. My experiences have been great! However, recently I had an experience that was not up to the standard I had been used to. I reached out to Mr. Carpenter via email. Surprisingly, I received an immediate response! Also, I received a call from Mr. Bentley. The situation was rectified quickly. This week, I even received a handwritten note from Mr. Carpenter. I love the personal touches and follow-through. Weokie has always treated my family well. Getting personal responses from Mr. Carpenter and Mr. Bentley made me feel like I am more than a number and that my business matters to them.

Mike Roark and the entire financing department are lazy and incompetent. I would not advise anyone to finance ANYTHING that requires a title and/or registration with the state.
I financed a RV with the Reno branch. Now that it’s paid for (early), I have been almost 90 days trying to get my title from them with no success. I’ve received a lengthy list of lies and excuses, but no help from Weokie at all.
I’d recommend using Communication Federal Credit Union or Tinker Credit Union instead. At least they’d probably get you your title.

WEOKIE has its pluses; BUT WEOKIE's overall CUSTOMER SERVICE & COMMUNICATIONS, TO THE CUSTOMER, unfortunately, are extremely poor!

Truly Awful. Weokie has so many "rules" that are not available in writing nor mentioned prior to issues, electronic transfer limits, # of times you can replace your debit card lost/stolen/broken, you must have a savings account but you can't have two checking accounts to be draw accounts. Customer service is abysmal. They do not care for members they're just looking for the most profit off your money storage choice. Don't do it!

I love love love weokie! They are far superior to navy federal in my opinion considering navy fed will never do anything for me. I opened an account with weokie and was so impressed at how smooth the process was and how friendly they are so I tried for a credit card. They were so understanding about my chapter 7 bankruptcy from last year that they approved me for their credit card! Yesterday, I wanted to take a personal loan out for car repairs. I explained I was not interested in a car loan as I really can’t afford to make huge payments. They went above and beyond to make it happen for me and approved me for $2500! I can’t say enough good things about weokie.

When you are at your lowest low and you think all hope is lost because you have no money, weokie will swoop in and make your life worse by giving you outrageous overdraft fees over and over as to make sure you can NEVER RECOVER. It doesnt matter if your family is going hungry, it doesnt matter if you have bills.

In my 20+ years of service in the United States Air Force, where I banked everywhere in America, I have never experienced the level of poor customer service as WEOKIE Credit Union. Unfortunately, my mother (who passed) banked with WEOKIE and I had to deal with them as the Personal Representative of her Estate. Some example of WEOKIEs poor service include, preventing closing of her credit card (closed 9 others); requiring additional unofficial paperwork; and delayed payment of Pay on Death (POD) accounts. If you are or are thinking of banking with WEOKIE, I would recommend you find another institution.

It is absolutely ridiculous that Weokie charges 15.00 to make a pymnt over the phone! My computer was having issues and I was unable to pay online so called to make my car pymnt over the phone. I was shocked to learn they will charge 15.00.. I’ll get out and drive over and write check like it’s 1995. ?

Weokie is the worst bank Ive ever used. If your account is insufficient, they charge you an overdraft fee but do not cover the charge. Its insane. They purposefully order transactions to increase the occurence of overdrafts as well.

I've had loans with Weokie for several years and they just recently changed fees for paying over the phone from $5 to $15 per loan . They say it's supposed to be a better system but I don't see how going up to $15 is . I do not recommend weokie to anyone !! That's simply a way for them to make money

I've been banking with Weokie for over a year now. I had bank troubles many years ago and because of it had trouble finding a bank that would accept my application. Weokie accepted me right away and I've been a loyal customer ever since. The most serious problem I've had with them is their policy on overdrafts. I know it sounds like an odd thing to complain about, but the default is overdraft protection that allows your account to go negative. There's no charges for it, and that's great, but I've had a problem where a company would charge me for a service I've canceled and the money would be deducted from my account when there wasn't the money to cover it, leaving me in the hole instead of not allowing the transaction to go through (which was my experience with other banks). This then makes it impossible for approved transactions to go through (where there's enough funds to cover that transaction). All in all, I highly recommend Weokie.

I have been with Weokie for over a decade. I have always received outstanding customer service. Regardless of my need they were always ready to help me.
Weokie is Oklahoma based but I lived for many years outside the area and still have had great communication, great service and great rates.
Weokie has shown me many ways to save. CD's have great rates. Every holiday I receive information about something of value. I hope to continue for many years with Weokie.

I have been with Weokie Credit Union for the past four years and I have nothing but good things to say about them. I went into Weokie inquiring about an account. They answered all of my questions and had me set up with an account in less than thirty minutes.

All of the employees that I encountered there are nice and very helpful. They replaced my card immediately when I informed them that I had lost it. I always get account statements and they send me information about other services their company offers. The only negative is that I wished that they had more locations. But I plan on using them for a very long time.
