My dealer secured my financing through this company. The dealer misrepresented the facts when I inquired if this type of vehicle was prone to theft, similar to a Kia; he assured me it was not. It was stolen twice within seven months. The second time, it was deemed a total loss. I had full coverage insurance, a Gap warranty, and Pro-Guard insurance for any significant repairs. My Retail Agreement had sections redacted; he claimed this was standard practice, which was another falsehood. I didn't realize this concealed the contract details such as the payment schedule, principal amount, etc., until the car was stolen and totaled. My insurance settled the claim on November 7th, yet they processed a payment afterwards. The car had been stolen on October 24th. The remaining balance on the car was higher than what I and my insurance agent were originally told. It took over two months to issue a refund, which was $500 short and provided as an online debit card. If you interact with this company, exercise extreme caution and ensure all your questions are thoroughly addressed. This company's practices are deceptive, and dealing with them has been a harsh lesson for me.

I had a car payment through Western Funding for 7 years, and I missed my last payment due to my own health issues. After paying off the car, I asked in a goodwill letter to remove the late payment. Let me say it again: 7 years without a single late payment until my last one. They would not remove it and said that it is accurate and they needed it on my credit so others can see my creditworthiness. I have had this happen before with another business, and they removed my one-off payment. It is very sad that you can be committed to pay on time, miss one payment, and they make you feel like you are the most unreliable person ever. I will never recommend anyone get a loan through this company.

Western Funding, count your days. I am suing you due to you selling my account to another company, claiming I owe you $10,000, when you got the car back and then sold it to somebody else. You better not play with someone who does not have proof because I do, and I have a good lawyer.

My ex-wife and I filed for bankruptcy, and I could never get them to send the paperwork to keep the vehicle to my lawyer back in October 2024. On November 21, 2024, I lost my job, and they wouldn't work with me to lower my payments so I could keep the vehicle. I also lost my place of residence. Unemployment took their time to issue a check; I didn't receive my first unemployment check until the end of January and I was pinching pennies to get by. I filed my taxes on February 5th and was planning to catch up on payments on February 11th. However, when I woke up and went outside, my vehicle was gone. They never attempted to retrieve the key, and I still had a lot of personal items inside the vehicle, including my medications, which I presume are gone by now. I still don't know where they took the vehicle so I could retrieve my belongings and my children's things. I would have volunteered to return the truck myself if they had informed me they were going to take it. I just want to get mine and my children's personal belongings back.

This is the worst place to get a loan. The representatives are rude, and you never get the correct information. The representative gave attitude when I was losing money. I put $6,000 into repairs, and I believed I paid it off until the motor went out. They don't offer refinancing and want me to continue paying for a broken-down vehicle. So, I turned it in voluntarily, and they are refusing to pick it up. I'm out of 3 years of payments and $6,000 in repairs with no vehicle. Take Five did an oil change and didn't tighten the oil pan, which burnt out my motor. I explained this to Western Funding and voluntarily surrendered it. I'm not paying for it; it's just not right. Western Funding is not a good place to get financing.

This place is fraudulent! I financed a car through a dealership associated with them. After one month, the car developed issues. I have been making my payments every month. So, I told them to retrieve the car. It took them over two months to come repossess the car. Now they want to sue me for over $14,000 for a car that's not worth $5,000. They have the car, and they turned it off. Now they intend to pursue me. They said I will lose my property and anything I own. That's ridiculous!

Easy to deal with. Was able to get a second vehicle with not-so-good credit. I really appreciate the chance to prove my credit worthiness.

If you want to ruin your credit, go for these folks. A car that costs 7 in the market was financed for 15. Well, then I paid 15 and they told me to pay another 15. How in the world does a car for 7 end up costing more than 30 thousand dollars?! It's not a Lamborghini. I asked why it was so much and they said to read the contract. I told them I didn't have the contract and asked them to send me a copy. I've already left the car and they still haven't sent me the contract. Please don't do this to your credit.

I got a loan from this company on the November 11th and on November 15th my car loan was cancel cause I asked why was the interest rate so high. The dealership called Western Funding and to come take the car which I hadn't even made a payment on the loan yet. On the 26th of November the Stamford Police Department took my car because they said it was reported stolen. I called the dealership since they have the car can I get my down payment back and they told me that they are not giving me my down payment back. All of this about me questioning why the interest rate was so high.

So far so good I’ve only have been with them for two months n made two payments. My only complaint is I wish they would work with me to move my payment date from the 3rd of each month to the 4th of each month. It’s only a day. N every other account work wit me to make sure the date I pay each month is good for everyone. I don’t think asking to move it over ONE DAY is too much. Really it’s absurd that they won’t work wit me to do that.

Dealers, run, don't walk...away from this company. 1. "Approval" rates are ridiculous claims. They say the "approve" 90%+ but they will then require 50% down and all other vehicles financed be paid off. 2. Getting documents approved for stipulations on the deal is a joke. They require dealers to do the legwork, get the docs, verify drivers license validity, and then will reduce the amount paid to the dealer in small increments throughout the process. They will "approve" deals based on your inputs and then find excuses to reduce the payment to the dealer AFTER you deliver the vehicle. 3. They require dealers use their system (DealerCenter) for processing deals and the automatic feed of your inventory into their system somehow manages to calculate approvals and lender fees so there is between $100-500 in profit left ON EVERY DEAL! They will take $3000+ in deal fees based on some unknown algorithm and leave you with a couple hundred dollars...every time. 4. Sibling company Westlake Financial is just as bad.
