If you have a payment declined after hours, good luck. There is no support when their doors close. When you complain, the staff always seems annoyed by this subject, but it's infuriating not having some sort of 24/7 support. They make enough money to staff people overnight. Ultimately, I'll be leaving them soon, but if you're considering using their services, keep in mind that you have almost no support after hours unless it's for a lost or stolen credit card, and even then, they try to redirect you to an automated system.

They held my check over 7 days being deposited for absolutely no reason. They say it’s standard practice. I’ve never had one issue to cause this with them. Sounds like they are using peoples money to run on for a week. Also they are off Juneteenth which is a disgrace to the local people of this area! Shane on you woke corrupt banks!!! Can’t wait till this system collapses so we can have an honest system!

On this weekend, we're trying to shop for Christmas and you cut off all 3 of our cards to internet shopping. I HATE THAT SO MUCH! There's no call for it, and always when there's no time to wait or I lose the good items. Why did you hit all 3 accounts to our household? Doesn't make any sense at all, and I'm gonna lose the pink shirt over it :(

I had a charge that wasn't authorized, and they told me there is nothing they can do about it because in the past it was authorized. Are you serious? So if someone takes your card and goes to Walmart.com and buys stuff you're screwed if you ever shopped there before. Their mobile app doesn't work half the time and you can't deposit at the ATM for a checking account. No phone support on weekends. No international charging allowed without calling first (even on ebay). Whitaker bank is stuck in the 80s, I hate to write a bad review but you must avoid them!

Learning how to save money was kind of a difficult process for me. I'm kind of a spender. So, I opened a savings account primarily to force myself to learn a good and useful habit. I've been a Whitaker Bank customer for awhile, and I've been otherwise satisfied with their services. The same is true for the savings account I have with them. Their online tools make it easy to track my savings progress, and it's saved me a time or two that they let me pull from it automatically if I happen to overdraft. I am overall very happy with my savings account.

I love Whitaker's free checking account. Theirs is the first bank I've been to where they actually have a free checking account that isn't just for wealthy people (who don't even need it). The service has been useful for me, to be sure. The only real problem is that the branch is not conveniently located for me, and ordering checks has been weirdly difficult at times. But, that's not that big a deal with me.
My wife and I have had a personal checking account with Whitaker bank for about ten years. As a small business owner, I have also relied upon Whitaker to handle my banking needs related to that business. It's a community bank, wholly local, so I have the pleasure of doing business with people that I know, and know I can trust. You can always count on friendly smiles and a greeting with your name attached. I can't see ever finding a reason to change banks.

Although I donât often make visits to my local Whitaker Bank branch, I am extremely honored to have them serve my needs. I have been dealing with Whitaker Bank since I was sixteen years old, and to be honest, I donât ever want to leave or try a different bank.
I personally know the people that work there. Some of them I attended high school with. Some of them are such close friends that I sometimes confuse them with family. I attend church with these people. They are my best friends and because they are my friends I know that I am going to get the best service they possibly can afford.
The only downside to banking with Whitaker is the fact that I do not currently have free checking. I am charged a monthly fee but itâs not all that much. Itâs nothing to really fuss over or cause a ruckus about. Iâm sure that if I had more money in the bank I may qualify for free checking, but for the time being, what I have fits my needs. And that is what is important.
