I recently moved (Oct. 2025) and therefore my wife and I have a new mortgage. I am undertaking a new project on my home and thought I might want to finance this $40k project instead of using my own money. I applied for a loan and was given not even half of what I requested.
1. My credit is very good (770).
2. I have been employed with the same company for 14 years, making in excess of $235k annually.
3. I couldn't add my wife to the application because they can't include household income (in excess of $350k).
Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this lender!

Wisetack currently offers unsecured financing with a maximum loan amount of $25,000, so requests above that threshold are not available. Lending decisions and approved amounts are also based on a range of factors beyond just credit score and income.
At this time, applications are evaluated on an individual basis and cannot be combined with a co-applicant or spouse.
We understand this may not have met your expectations, and will take your feedback into consideration as we continue to improve our product and offerings.

Wisetack has enabled us to provide more services to a broader base of businesses. It has also allowed us to increase our average ticket price because customers can afford more. The ease of pre-qualification and financing is just a no-brainer to offer on our bigger jobs. Just this week, we saved several jobs because we were able to offer financing to our customers.

Verified CustomerThis company reported a false credit report of 30 days late when I was only 7 days late. The customer service was horrible. When I called to investigate, I was told I owed 69 cents.

To avoid as quickly as you can. Sort of a legal scam. We were approved for 2k at 13%, the merchant has been paid, and then several hours later, a message was sent for denial without any valid reason and without any clear explanation, only to be replaced by a credit line at 29% with an unknown financial establishment... run away!
