I had fraudulent transactions amounting to about $2500 through Apple Wallet on my Zolve card. I never shared my email, password, or OTP with anyone, yet the transactions still went through. When I contacted support, they informed me that the transactions were authenticated and they could not assist further.
As a student, dealing with such an issue is very stressful. It also made me question the security of this card.
Honestly, I would not recommend this card to students coming to the U.S. on an F-1 visa. It may be better to come to the U.S., obtain an SSN through an on-campus job, and then apply for cards like Discover or from other U.S. banks, which seem much more secure.
Additionally, since this card is issued from India, resolving issues in the U.S. can be challenging.
I am just sharing my experience so other students can make a more informed decision.
For a fintech that advertises 24/7 customer service, this level of non-response over two weeks is unacceptable. It feels like they only care about growth because once you're in, the card becomes unpredictable and impossible to use for customers.
I've filed complaints with the BBB, CFPB, FTC, Zolve’s executive office, and their partner bank (Community), with zero response. At this point, it seems like they’re intentionally leaving my account locked indefinitely without explanation. Yet I'm of course due to pay my bill.
Do NOT use Zolve. It's clear from mine and others' experiences in this comment section that this is the standard.
