This checking account is amazing! I was given one for free at the age of 15, and I am now 19 and still using it. The advisor who set it up for me was courteous and friendly and gave me everything I needed to get it started. If you're under 18, this account is free until you turn 18. The fees, however, are easily avoided by doing things monthly, such as reaching a certain number of transactions and maintaining a daily balance. The only downside is that mobile check deposit is unavailable to me using this account.

This checking account is very easy to use, but it does have some downfalls. For example, the account automatically gets assessed monthly fees if you do not have an auto transfer set up between your checking and savings account. This can be quite annoying when you're trying to balance your books each month. Aside from that, it is a great checking account! The online banking features on Wells Fargo's website are very user-friendly, and their customer service has always been good in my opinion.

I’ve been a customer of WF for almost 16 years. I’ve had a Way2Save checking account for the last 4 and during that time I’ve enjoyed working with Wells Fargo. I got the account because my wife and I wanted to set up an account for “fun. That would also allow us to keep an eye on how much we were spending outside of our normal bills and insure that we weren’t overspending and were putting enough money into savings each month. The account setup was extremely easy and the person we were working with at the branch was friendly and knowledgeable. Anytime I have a questions about cards, checks, or anything else related I call and they take care of it immediately. It’s a great account to have. The only think you should watch out for are the fees involved. They can really bite you if you’re not careful.

This checking account is a scam at the most, and annoying at the least. It's a cute concept to send money to my savings account, and "force" me to save. However, it does things like, put money into my savings account BEFORE all of the pending charges go through. Then charges me a fee for having to transfer money from my savings account. Wells Fargo customer service has always given me the transfer fee back when I call and complain about it, but it's a big oversight that should be fixed and I shouldn't have to deal with it.

I've had my Way2Save account with Wells Fargo for about 4 years now. During that time it seem as if the policies have changed considerably with regards to ATM fees. Fees can be charged on top of a special charge for international withdrawals for example. The basic services of the bank are average overall. Customer service however is typically helpful in resolving issues although I would recommend going to a branch rather than trying to work it out over the phone. I would recommend this account to students but a long term solution should be found elsewhere.

I like my account with Wells Fargo. I don't have any complaints. When I did have an issue with my account their customer service was very understanding and helpful. I've also lost my card a few times and the process for getting another debit card is really customer friendly. I was able to get a temporary card that same day and have my permanent card mailed to me. I've been with the company for 4 years and I've had only positive interactions with them.

I love my Way2Save Checking account. I've been a Wells Fargo customer since 2001. Way2Save makes it easy to put money away, but I mostly stick with WF because of their customer service. I recently had to report some fraudulent charges on my account and they responded promptly, returned my money, and communicated with me during the entire investigation process. I was shocked. I don't find that level of service with a lot of companies these days.

I have been banking with this company for over 6 years. The staff are always friendly and take care of my business efficiently. There was a point in time when they were going to start charging me for my checking account. I went to the bank and was going to close my account and move it to another bank that would not charge me. The man that assisted me offered to open a savings account and bypass the fees as long as I included the way2save feature. I thought it was a fair compromise and accepted. I've not had issues since. Usually everyone that works at the bank is on top of their job and it doesn't matter what branch I go to in any city I've never had a problem.

I had an issue in which my online checking account was corrupted and a potential security breach had occurred. I immediately called up Wells Fargo and they froze all of my accounts. I then went to my local Wells Fargo bank and they quickly set me up with a new debit card and changed the security information on my checking account. Overall it was a pleasant experience for a unfortunate situation.

Wells Fargo Way2Save Checking Package is a great checking account. The Way2Save account helps me save money while the checking account helps me manage my money. Customer service reps are always friendly and helpful. I really enjoy the internet banking feature of this checking account as it allows me to monitor my account on a daily basis. Pending ACH transactions are made shown on internet banking prior to be debited from your account to give you time to make a deposit before being charged overdraft fees.
