all they tried to do is get you over under on your car loan. I have a Chrysler 200 S 2016 I got a car loan from them. They were able to get me down to 13% but they added extended warranty and extended gap program that made my car loan worth more than what my car is worth. I didn't catch it the first time I got another loan in April 29 of 2026. it was 8.4% This time My loan was 14,000. They did the same thing and I caught it this time. They tried to get me with an extended warranty The most expensive gap they had took my loan from 14,000 To 18,500 this car is only worth from 6000 to $9000. This is what they do. I'm disabled on a fixed income. The guy name was George and his supervisor was Ashley. They think it's all right to treat their customers like This , I try to get someone at the bank that was in a position higher than Ashley. She's one of the loan management but they tell me she is at the top and I don't believe that I learned my lesson you can't trust nobody today all about greed the guy who did my application with me named George he would have not done nobody in his family like that but he thought that was all right to treat me like that take my loan from 14,000 to 18,500 and the car is not worth 6000 to 9000 I was a good loyal customer never missed the payment not one time I am a Christian and God fights my battle they think it's all right to have you upside down in your car loan. That means that your car loan is worth more than what your car is worth. They did it to me in 2025. I didn't catch that one, but I caught what they was doing in 2026 when I asked for a refinance they took advantage of a senior, there are honest companies who don't try to trick a senior just because they get a kickback when they sell the most expensive package to you T. These are the most incompetent people I’ve ever ran into. I need 50% of you to move onto another loan website because these guys are so stupid that it cost me another $102 to pay off a loan that I paid off over 20 days ago. I paid off a $15,000 loan and apparently because I missed a phone call that they kept running the interest on my loan. They told me it was put into a savings account. I didn’t ask for a savings account. I asked to pay off my loan. The incompetence is insane. Don’t trust these people with your money.

Do not get a car loan with this company. They added insurance to my vehicle even though it was already fully insured. I spent two days getting it removed. They are the biggest scammers!

Today I paid off my car loan with Premier Members Credit Union. This is not my primary credit union. CU of Denver transferred the money to Premier to pay off my loan. On my balance receipt from Premier, the balance was confusing. I went into the Arvada branch off Ward Road. I spoke with Catherine the teller, who was really kind. I asked to speak with the manager; her name is Lisa. She was a real snob. She was sarcastic and didn't want to help me. Her answers were short with no explanation; she was really rude. Maybe even prejudice, because she looked at me as if I were a nobody, how dare I ask to speak with her. These are the dirty looks and the vague answers I was getting. For being a manager, she had no answers, or anyway, any she wanted to share with me. Anyway, I closed my account at Premier, and it was only a loan I had with them. My other two credit unions appreciate me as a member and they treat me with courtesy.

Worst company ever! I've had a car loan with this company for a while. In September I missed a payment. I wasn't aware that I had missed that payment. Now it's December, literally a week before Christmas, and I'm a few days late on the December payment. Because of the missed payment in September, they view the late payment in December as my account being 60 days behind. Because of this, they sent out a text and email threatening repossession.
I decided to call them and discuss this. I explained my situation and the representative said, "can't you get a second job through the holidays to get caught up?" This is what they call working with the account holder. They tell you to get a second job! Did they offer to reset the loan, to cut the interest and lower the payments, to waive late fees? No! They insist that the account holder figure it out.
When she said I should get a second job, I lost it and got angry. I said they should go ahead and repossess the car and save me the money. She replied, "well you'll still owe the money." Which I said, "Not if I file bankruptcy." The moment I said that she got very combative and angry. Almost as if I would be taking money out of her personal pocket. She said, "If you're going to act like that, I'm going to end the call." She hung up.
I've realized that Meritrust is a predatory lender, disguising themselves as a credit union.

This place is the worst I've ever dealt with. I initially financed my car with them, and they ended up financing my ex's car as well. My payments are deducted every month at the same time, and when she fell behind on her payments, they started withdrawing from my savings account. I moved all my money to another bank, and when she fell behind again, they began deducting from my payments to cover her car. I will never deal with this institution again. I paid off my ex's car, and now I'm locked out of the app. Although they are still taking my payments from my account, since I'm locked out of the app, my payments are going to savings and not towards my car payment. Yet, when her car was behind, they had no issue taking from my account. It has been an extremely frustrating ordeal, and I'll feel much better when it's over. I will never have any dealings with Meritrust again. My ex has never had an account with them and I was not on her car loan until she started financing with them.

I have a car loan through Meritrust and have set up auto pay for my loan through my personal credit union. I have had zero issues for two years, and recently, when my personal credit union account was breached, I set up a different account and arranged auto-pay for Meritrust through this new account. However, for some reason, Meritrust cannot manage to receive their payment. I went to the bank in person because I noticed they had not withdrawn the money from my account that was supposed to come out automatically. The people at the bank said, "We show the payment is paid." So I walked out, and still three days later, nothing! I called to inquire about the situation and the representative stated, "Well, we took it out and then rejected it, so now it's unpaid and there's a fee." I said, "No ma'am, I will not be paying that fee. You need to correct this because it is an issue on your end, not mine. So figure it out." They sent me another autopay form to fill out, and now I'm back in the same situation! Has anyone else had this issue? I'm beyond tired of them and truly believe they withdraw the payment and reject it to collect extra fees from customers. I'm beyond sick of it, and I'm ready to take my business elsewhere. These people are the absolute worst, and I'm not sure how they are still functioning as a bank.

Do not use the company unprofessional, unorganized. Charged us a fine because they did not enter our insurance properly. Did not notify us added more to our payment with no notification. Put our car in repossession without notification. They have no system to update payments . They literally use a hand calculator. They are rude and unprofessional. We had to make a $3000 payment on the spot to keep them from repossession. They have multiple bbb complaints for this and many other issues. Please save your self the hassle do not use this financing you will regret it
