I have had accounts with alpine for nearly a decade and 3 years ago I was looking for overdraft protection on my checking account. I added a line of credit to my checking account at the advice of one of the horizon drive members of staff, to help with overdraft protection. At the time no additional accounts appeared on my online banking and assumed it was just linked to my checking account to help cover overdrafts. Now 3 years later I discovered I have an open line of credit that is actually its own account. I have not had access to the account for over 3 years while they have gleefully collected interest on an account I can neither pay off nor view the balance of. They take the interest payments directly from my checking account once again making it seem as though they are linked. When I contacted them they said they would make the account viewable but that it was my fault that I should have addressed the unknown issue sooner...

This bank makes fraudulent promises to disabled persons & then steals their social security checks. Best to keep an attorney on retainer if you insist on using their "services". Cozy Radio uses their commercials, further facilitating the fraud.

Alpine Bank has always been great. Their staff at all locations are very nice. Most staff knows customers by name in some of the locations. Would recommend to anyone. I have been banking with Alpine for years and don't plan on changing banks. I couldn't ask for better customer service, I have never had a problem with my account in the years I have banked with them. They have the small town feeling when you go into the bank, my kids love that they get suckers when we visit the bank as well.
