I started a new checking account through FHB after joining another bank for a while. I was able to really see and appreciate the amount of benefits that FHB brings to my business and I couldn't be happier to be back with them. If I have an online company that tries to charge my account after I have cancelled my service, FHB always denies the claim and this is not something all banks do. I get a letter after this happens saying that something came through and the bank wouldn't pay it with my account. This is one of the biggest headache savers and I love that my bank handles it so personally. The online aspect of FHB is also so much more easy to work than other banks I have used. I'm a relatively new customer of FHB's, but I have been mostly satisfied so far with the service FHB provides me with.
I appreciate that I'm able to transfer money from my Mainland bank to FHB in less than three days (I think the longest it has taken so far is two days) and I also appreciate that I qualify for one of their free checking accounts. Bank fees can be onerous, so free checking is a great incentive to bank with FHB.
My dealings with bank staff have been positive; I've received prompt, efficient service each time I've had to talk to or communicate via email with FHB.
The reason I gave three stars instead of four is because I cannot get their Android application to work for me. I've talked to Customer Support and their app is just obnoxious and refuses to work for me.…show more
