I was able to open a checking account at the Georgetown location; it was one of the best experiences I have had. Not only did Andrew let me come in right when they happened to be closing, but he was so easy to work with and friendly. He had me set up with the card to my new account in less than ten minutes. I can't say enough good things about this bank/bank location. Thank you so much.

Verabank is unprofessional at best. Theives at worst. My account was hacked while I was in a literal coma. Verabank wouldn't accept the police report or doctor records that it wasn't me. Also won't replace the money stolen, but won't let me have a debit card due to "activity on account"

I really liked the way that this checking account appeared. There was supposed to be no monthly fee and there was also no minimum balance required to keep in your account. Basically, it looked like a great deal and a great choice for a checking account. But then then random "late" and ridiculous made up "overdraft" fees began and I got really fed up. The first time I put it off as a mistake that the bank had made and I let it go. But it happened again...and again...and again. And I ended up closing my account. It just wasn't worth all of the hassle. And lost money!@
