Apple FCU is getting 5 stars from me just for their amazing employee, Carla Darcia. I was having issues with my credit card being declined and was shuffled from Visa, to Apple, to Visa, and back to Apple. Thankfully, on my fourth phone call, I was connected to Carla. Wow! She quickly figured out the issue (it was not fraud) and fixed the problem. Her personality is amazing as well. It was so comforting to talk with someone who is cheerful and enjoys helping people, not to mention smart and savvy. Thank goodness for the Carlas of the world; there are not enough of them!

Apple credit union is not a place to go if you want to grow your financial goals because they’re not able to solve any issues that you would have with your card. Someone used my credit to buy stuffs, I reported and they have been ignoring me since. They even charged me late fees that are not justified. I’m so done with them.

Verified CustomerConvenient card from Credit Union, with very good fraud monitoring. I like the customer service, but this card fails in that it suffers from a lacks of rewards or benefits.

Customer service team awful. Use this card if you never anticipate carrying any balance on it. otherwise, you are better off going to a credit card company that has a team willing to work with you to pay off your balance.

When I was in Virginia Tech, 3 years ago, I was referred through a friend of mine to Apple Federal Credit Union. I had a hassle free initial experience over there. I liked the speed of application processing and problem resolution aspect but when I was once late on a bill, I had a hefty interest to pay, which I was not aware of! When I visited the bank, I was told that their disclosures are all simple, clear and straight and it was my responsibility to read them all before I opted!
I do agree, but I could have received a more favorable and polite reply! Otherwise, its a great credit card to have. I bought my first iPhone with the card and lots of memorable stuff!
