My name is Michael C. and I just spoke with Nicole Barlow @ Unitus Community Credit union in the Loan office.
She was far and away the best customer service experience I have ever received! She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to actually get to know me in the brief 10 minute call we had to increase my credit card limit.

Low interest VISA card for members and a long grace period. It's one of a choice of cards from secured to cash-back. Membership is required, however.

I love the bank they are thoughtful helpful and nice they are very forgiving and I like that it is a credit Union. the home loans are very provocative to me right now.

I wanted to transfer a balance from another bank and close the card and as has been my experience in the past 10 years with Unitus it was flawless and accomplished right from my computer within 24 hours. The customer care Unitus employees share is absolutely amazing. I want to thank Lisa Ellis who was my loan processor for the excellent customer service she provided to help me transfer the balance to a much better and more honest institution, Unitus.

Wish I could give UNITUS 0 stars! I have been banking at UNITUS/Oregon TELCO Credit Union for over 20 years! They have lost their values and are worse than Bank of America, Chase, Citi, & Wells Fargo put together! They're happy to bilk you for fees and interest, but the minute you actually need they're help, they don't give a rats *@! about you. Do not put $1 in this extortionist "Credit Union"!

How do I increase my Unitus Platinum Rewards Visa credit limit?

You can request a Unitus Platinum Rewards Visa® Card credit limit increase by calling customer service at 1 (503) 423-8770. To raise your chances of being approved for a higher credit limit, pay your bill on time for at least six straight months, reduce your outstanding debt, and update the income Unitus Community Credit Union has on file. Unitus Community Credit Union will be more likely to increase your credit limit if the revised income clearly shows that you can afford a higher limit.

Impact of a Unitus Platinum Rewards Visa® Card Credit Limit Increase on Your Credit Score

When you request a Unitus Platinum Rewards Visa® Card credit limit increase, Unitus Community Credit Union will conduct a hard pull of your credit report, which will cause a short-term dip in your credit score. Unitus Community Credit Union cannot do a hard pull without your permission, though.

Alternatively, you could be eligible for a Unitus Platinum Rewards Visa® Card credit limit increase without even requesting one. The Unitus Platinum Rewards Visa® Card may offer an automatic credit limit increase if Unitus Community Credit Union's regular review of your account shows a history of on-time payments and low debt. An automatic credit limit increase involves a soft pull, which does not affect your credit score.
