The Alphaeon Credit Card is worth considering if you have fair credit (a credit score of 640-699) and you need a way to finance an expensive procedure with a participating plastic surgeon or dermatologist. You can only use this card to pay for medical procedures with certain doctors, and its main benefit is the opportunity to avoid interest charges.
The card’s interest-free financing offer comes with a catch, however. If you don’t pay off your full balance by the end of the promotional financing period, interest will retroactively apply to your original purchase amount at a very high rate. This is called deferred interest. Alternatively, if you spend $1,000+, you can get a promo rate that basically cuts the regular APR in half temporarily – without deferred interest.
Given its financing limitations, the Alphaeon Credit Card is nowhere near as good as the best 0% APR credit cards on the market right now. If you have good or excellent credit (a credit score of 700+), you should consider one of those cards instead.

In conclusion, there are multiple ways to make an Alphaeon Credit Card payment, so just choose whichever method suits you best. The important part is to not miss payments, as that can seriously damage your credit score.
The credit score you need for the Alphaeon Credit Card is 640 or better. That means people with at least fair credit have a shot at getting approved for this card, as long as they have enough income to afford monthly payments and they meet the card's other requirements.
While your credit score is an important factor, there are plenty of other things that will impact your chances of being approved for the Alphaeon Credit Card, too. Some...
Be aware that if there's a balance remaining on the canceled account, you are still required to make at least the minimum payment every month until the balance is paid in full. You will also need to update the payment method for any recurring charges linked to your Alphaeon Credit Card.
You cannot get a cash advance with Alphaeon Credit Card. This is a healthcare card that can only be used for medical expenses, at certain physicians.
The fact that Alphaeon Credit Card cash advances are not an option might be a good thing. Cash advances are very expensive, thanks to a cash advance fee and a high cash advance APR that apply as soon as you withdraw the cash. Also, depending on where you get the cash advance,...
No, you cannot get the Alphaeon Credit Card with a co-signer. As a matter of fact, most credit card issuers no longer allow this option. However, you can check to see if you pre-qualify for the card, to gauge your odds of approval (80%+). Checking to see if you pre-qualify will only involve a soft pull, which won't damage your credit score.
If you don't pre-qualify, it is still possible to be added as an authorized user on...

The Alphaeon Credit Card may offer 0% APR promotions on certain purchases. It's important to pay off the entire balance before the promotional rate expires, though. That is because the regular APR might apply retroactively from the purchase date if any balance remains after the 0% APR period ends. This is called deferred interest, and it can be quite costly.
Keep in mind that even though you don't pay interest during 0% APR periods, you still must...

All these reviews are real and true. Be careful using them. They are scammers, and the people that partner with their card should be ashamed of how they handle business. I am currently fighting with them about getting a refund interest check back. Anyway, can we all band together to fight them?

Alphaeon Credit is by far the worst credit card company I have ever dealt with. They completely fail to disclose that their "23-month no interest" promotion is actually deferred interest, meaning if you don't pay the entire balance off in full by the exact end date, they tack on all the interest from day one. No reminders, no courtesy notices, nothing.
Despite calling them months before the promotion ended to explain that I never even received the orthodontic services after the second month, they didn't care at all. They refused to work with me in any way. I originally owed about $1,100, and because of their deferred-interest trap, my balance suddenly shot up to $3,600.
I spoke with multiple representatives, and every single one told me, "Sorry, that's too bad." No accountability, no empathy, no willingness to resolve the issue.
Their practices are misleading, predatory, and absolutely awful. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from Alphaeon Credit.

I used 4,000 on my Alphaeon Credit Card. I paid 3,400, then they charged me 1,400 in interest today. I called them and explained that I didn't know about this and tried to pay the full previous balance of 600 dollars that I was supposed to pay on October 12th (16 days ago). They said, "No, your new balance is 2,000, and we don't waive that." How am I supposed to pay something I didn't know about? That's bad business; they put interest on top of something that you already paid for.

This company is as bad as a loan shark! Don't use this company for any medical or dental procedures. Mine was used for major dental work needed due to my Stage 3 cancer treatments destroying my bones and teeth enamel.
They don't explain when signing the agreement that if you don't have the balance paid off within two years, they will add as much as 38% in back interest rate charges for those two years, and then apply that total upfront to your new payoff amount. For example, my payoff balance was down to only $1,600.00 from $3,600.00 after paying more than the monthly due for two years at a 7% interest rate. Then, suddenly they added an additional charge of $1,634.00 in back interest charges, and now my new payoff balance is right back up to almost the same amount I originally financed, and my new payoff balance is now $3,200.00.
I did everything I could to get this resolved with the card company and with the bank that this card is offered through, including contacting our Government Finance Oversight Department to assist me with getting my payoff balance back down to what it was so I could then pay it in full and be done with them.
I got nowhere with anyone, so beware, do not use this credit card for any kind of medical procedure—it's a scam, and that's why it's so easy to get approved!
Use a reputable credit card company or a personal loan to pay for your medical procedures!
Sincerely, from this scammed and taken advantage of customer.

Alphaeon Credit is predatory. They claim to give you a certain number of months to pay off your credit, but they don't mail your first statement for two months and then charge you interest on the entire amount. I had $160 left to pay off, and they charged me $130 in interest. Do not use Alphaeon.

Do not use - Beware! We utilized this company for LASIK. I was making payments on time but was still charged an "Interest Charge on Purchases" of $1,944 when my previous balance was $1,488. I hope this message reaches as many potential customers as possible to protect them from this deceitful company. If there is a class action lawsuit, please let me know.

It's true that Alphaeon Credit Card is a major scam, they charge you a substantial deferred interest charges even while enrolled in an autopay program designed to settle the balance by the end of the promotional plan. LaserAway should also be blamed for promoting their more costly cosmetic procedures, further increasing my balances without adequately informing me of the potential deferred interest risks associated with Alphaeon. They did not properly advise clients that additional hidden charges will be added to the old promotional plan's balance. Both parties are excessively greedy, attempting to maximize profit from their clients with false ads and lack of transparency. Please Stay away! Terrible consumer experience!

The deferred interest is a killer. If you don't pay the full amount within a year, they charge you very high interest retrospectively. They literally charge you 12 months of interest, and then you start accumulating interest on top of what is now the new balance.

I have good credit and I'm always on time with payments. However, this credit card company decided to charge my card, which is now canceled, over $3,000 for a day after the bill was closed (it was on a Saturday). Calling customer support only led to frustration due to their lack of assistance or effort to help.

Most unethical company ever! I mailed our payment postmarked 9 days early. They say they received it on the 11 days later and deemed it late. How do I prove when they received it? Charged me 30 dollars, offering 15 off when I complained but would not give me any supervisory recourse! Shameful robbery practice! Stay away!
