I thought I would try this card. So I only put $50 on it. I used it and they charged me for using it. Every time I use it there was a fee for using it.I Will find another card that does not have Fee on it when you use it.

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT get this card. I have only had it for a matter of a few days and have had fee after fee after fee cutting into the balance on the card, even for transactions that never happened. For example charging me a debit fee for what were clearly credit card transactions. Their customer service is useless. Definitely look at better options for a prepaid Visa, these guys are crap.

I suggest checking out the Transact 7-Eleven Netspend card for the following reasons. They offer two plans (pay as you go with no monthly fee and a $5.00 monthky plan) If you get the $5.00 monthly plan, every 4th consecutive month on that plan, the fee is waived. So, you only end up paying $3.75 per month for the year or $45. If you reload at 7-Eleven, the 4th cash reload is free. Most ATM terminals allso offer free cash ATM withdrawals at 7-Eleven.

I've been using this particular Netspend pay as you go $1 per transaction card for 5 years with NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. I am so happy with the customer service. I have always deposited my earnings onto this card and I have used it at atms as well, the fee is normal, it compares to any banks atm charges. I use this card for deposits and credit/debit/atm withdrawals and I am very pleased with them!

Netspend is not your typical prepaid card. But it may be right for you. The application process is very easy compared to some other cards I have tried. It is all online, takes maybe 5 minutes to complete, with your physical card getting mailed to you within a week. Quick, easy, and painless. They also run sign up promotions pretty often, so be sure to get some quick cash in the process. This is a great card for those who need their money fast. The biggest selling point to me of the Netspend brand is there fast direct deposit. Faster than the bank in some cases. I use it to get my check faster, then simply transfer it to my checking account. I primarily use this card for online purchases, as they do have a slightly high fee schedule for use. If you want to make this your main debit card though, you can upgrade to monthly plans which greatly reduce your fees. I have found their customer service very easy to use and helpful in answering my questions when I started out. The other selling point of this card? Being able to set up free virtual cards, which are really helpful when signing up for trials, or you would like to keep your purchases private. I have not seen any other cards offer this! Overall, I would like to see the fees lowered in this card, as they are my biggest complaint, but definitely give this card a shot(and check out the bonus 5% APY checking account if you upgrade your plan!) Pays for the fees itself!

I got this card to have a loadable card not connected directly to any bank or credit account of mine. My accounts were all flush and I wanted to have a way to send money to a family member who was travelling a lot. I gave them this card before they left. It was really easy for me to get online and arrived at my house in a week or so later in time for when I needed it, but you do need to plan ahead. This card acts just like any other debit card would, you can easily use at any ATM that has Cirrus logo on it. What I loved was how I could handle loading the card right online if I used one of my checking accounts. This way my family member could skype me and ask for cash. I jumped on to my account online and reloaded the card, and it was available almost instantly. I called customer service one time and they were friendly enough and answered my account questions. What I did not like about the card is that you could not use a credit card to load online. I tried to figure out a way to get that to work but for some reason they will only load the card from bank accounts. In order to use a credit accounts money, I would have to physically withdrawal cash for it and go to a store and buy a redeemable card to load my prepaid card with, that is just stupid. I have to say in some ways it works great and in others it is lacking. I also think the fees for this card are way to high and was way I ended going with one of their competitors in the end.

Netspend was always pleasant to use until recently. I just totally gave up on them. I no long have now, now will I ever want another card with them ever. Their customer service is impossible to reach, and when you do reach them it is just...not good. Also, they gave me the run around like you wouldn't believe about a balance that I owed them. Also, they took money from my account without even asking me! When I tried to get it back, my efforts were unfruitful. I just thank God that they didn't take a lot, but that was the LAST straw for me. No more Netspend for me.....EVER!!!
