I am not sure how Zions bank has such high reviews, they are the worst bank that I have ever worked with, they should be investigated for shady business practices. First of all their fees are ridiculously high and there are a lot of them, other financial institutions do not charge the same type of fees as this bank. The thing that really makes this bank horrible is that they have transferred all of their mortgages to a company called Cenlar Mortgage or Cenlar FSB, and they are absolutely the worst mortgage company that there has ever been, they have a rating on wallethub of 1.1, yes that's right 1.1 stars, that is the worst rating I have ever seen of any company, here is the link to their review, https://wallethub.com/profile/cenlar-fsb-13001145i
Cenlar will not work with you and will give you the run around about everything, and even try to take your home away from you without precedence, I am not sure how they are even in business with all the shady things that they do to their customers, I blame Zions Bank for making me do business with Cenlar and transferring my mortgage to them, Zions Bank should be ashamed of themselves.
If you want a horrible customer experience and you don't care about throwing money away or stressing every month whether or not you may lose your home, then this is the bank for you, otherwise I would shop elsewhere and put more money in your pocket, and less stress in your life.

I inquired with a local bank about a refinance. The "man" i spoke with was very willing to assist me. He gave me every indication that they would be able to do the refinance for me. He then gave my information to the "lady" (aka loan officer). She and I conversed over the phone several times as well as email. I sent her my information, documentation which would approve the loan. I have excellent credit and more than enough income to approve the loan in which I was seeking. I called one day and was greeted by a teller, she knew me and said she would have the "lady" call me. May I add, the loan was in progress. I was told it would be no problem. I gave them my personal information, they ran my credit....it was all in the works. On occasion, when I entered the bank on other business, the "man" would inquire about how the loan was coming or if she was able to get ahold of me or was she able to help me. After my call to the institution and my brief conversation with the teller, I never heard from anyone again. No one returned my phone calls. I continued to leave messages every few days. I spoke with the "man" each time i went in the bank on other business. Now, when i go in the bank, both the "man" and the "lady" act like Im not even there. she is intentionally engrossed in her computer screen, must be riveting, whatever she is looking at. He is extremely short and sweet if he cant get out of a greeting. Can i just say, i have never been more ....I'm not sure what to call it???? this particular branch is by far the most unprofessional business i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with and under no circumstance will I ever attemp to give zions bank my business again. "we havent forgotten who keeps us in business????" well, clearly you have!! I would like to add that I have talked with employees and former employees about this and have been told numerous times that the staff, the loaning staff, have made comments often when a person enters or inquires about loans. Before even knowing of their financial situation in any way its been said, "not only no but hell no!" Is one persons money better than another? Is it religious preference? This is a small town and i do see alot of undue judgement from different religions. I have to say, I am extremely against bullying of any kind and this is right at the top of my scale. Uncalled for!! You can be sure that i shall never utter a kind word in this town pertaining to this particular bank! These employees should be ashamed of themselves for their action and nonprofessional behavior. I do not wish to express any names as I live here, however, you should be aware that you are losing business from, I'm sure, good people based on not so good peoples personal biased judgement of others, for whatever reason??!!
