US Bank has been the worst for me; their customer service is a joke. They sent me a card, but it was the wrong one. I called back, and it took over 10 days. Then, they wouldn't send me the card because they needed to verify my address, which would take 5 to 7 days. So, it's been over 15 days before I'm going to receive my card. They are not helpful and are very rude on the phone. They are the worst company ever, and I can't understand their workers either. Every time I call, I can't understand what they're saying to me. I am cold, not getting anything done, and I still am not able to have access to my money, and they do not care and will not help me.

After speaking with the supervisor, Victoria, and being hung up on several times when leaving negative reviews on their survey, I decided to cancel my card altogether and have my payroll funds deposited through Chime. Thank you so much, US Bank and Victoria, for showing me there is a better way to receive my paychecks. Even the woman at my payroll company says US Bank is problematic, as she receives complaints about them all the time.

I will never use this bank for anything. I have now waited for over 30 days for my card because they kept mailing it to the wrong address. After they finally got it to me, they have placed a hold on it. They lie to you all the time and do not take responsibility for their own mistakes.

Do not buy the gift cards from U.S. Bank National Association at any of the Kroeger stores. My wife and I each received a gift card for a fairly good amount of money that resulted in $0 dollars for each of us. My first card did not work so called the number and they sent me a replacement with $0 on it and marked for fraud alert. Called the number on back of card and to resolve it and they asked me to go to www.prepaidgiftbalance.com and submit a back/front image of my government issued ID. Seeing as most of the support calls involve people with very heavy (not understandable) India accents, and a serious hesitance to send an electronic image of that type of info to anyone, this was not a solution I could accept. No other option but to forgo using the card (money lost/stolen). My wife had a similar experience. Her card was used by some one else before she even activated it. Again, only solution was to send an electronic copy (back and front) of a government issued ID. My last call to the support number involved another person in India that I could not understand. She forwarded me to a second person that could speak understandable English. The second support person pointed me to the need for a copy of my government issued ID. I explained that that was not an acceptable solution and she commented that I was about the 20th call in the last 2 hours with the same concern. Sounds like U.S. Bank National Association has a great scam going on where they send you bad cards upfront and then require an unacceptable action to free the money. Where does the money go when the card holder refuses to take the very risky step of sending a electronic image of an ID?

Very sad day when you call to check a balance on a gift card gifted to you by your employer and made to feel like a criminal by your card services staff stating they can't help due to I could have stolen the card, etc.. I have purchased US Bank Rewards Cards for my family members for holiday and /or birthday gifts in the past, past being the key word here folks. If you can't call and get the balance then what good is it to purchase your cards. You imply I may have stolen the card... What do you call your actions in this matter. Perhaps I gifted someone $100 on your card I purchased advertising your business and you tell the individual " Sorry you can't have the balance because you may have stolen the card". I do look forward to a response from a representative with no attitude. Please reply with a code and email link and I will be happy to discuss. -C. Sellers

After two years still no action on whether I can get a regular credit card. They also charge an account fee of 40.00 per year even if they advertise no fee. Cannot rely on US Bank.

Wish I could give a 0 star review. Called with a question about why my work share debit card was frozen, and was hung up on 4 times by various employees. They were extremely rude, condescending, and either claimed they didn’t know or criticized me before hanging up. All I needed was help, and this is simply outrageous to be hung up on 4 times for no reason.

during this crisis it is absolutely ridiculous and it's very obvious to me that usbank is not equipped or capable of handling its customers and or clients if I was the Utah department of workforce services I would pull all accounts from their service I've been on hold for the last few days over six and a half hours I have benefits already deposited to a card I have yet to receive and no customer service available this is absolutely ridiculous. No food and kids wtf.

Legit the worst service I've ever had. They didn't release holds totaling over 200 dollars had me on hold for over an hour to say system is down and to call back. Why is getting money you've ripped me off so hard so no I have to call back again even though they could've done that due to their error and the manager I spoke with Steven was a joke I'm some doing business with them.

Charges inactivity fee monthly even before you start using a card. So you will simply lose your money by holding a gift card which is not even opened. This is not how all other prepaid gift cards work
