I have been out of my home know since June for a home repair that was said to be two weeks to a month. It is now October 16th my family, animals and I all have been divided in different living arrangements. Seasons have changed buying clothes that we have. My upstairs of my house was what was mainly damaged. The first contractor came in tore up the upstairs Insurance fired and hired another company. They demolished the downstairs that was hardly effected because of lack of communication. Know whole house is demolished and nothing makes sense. Anthony White was my adjuster. I called his boss due to poor communication. Asked to have a new adjuster and that was ignored. After 17 years of being a dedicated insurance carrier of your policies. This is how you take care of your people? Time for change

Worst adjuster is Eric Lowe. Impossible to get in touch with, and blatantly dishonest. I requested a different adjuster and the supervisor also ignored me. Had to finally file a claim with the Insurance commissioner to get things moving.

Worst Insurance. My contractor is suing me because they will not pay water mitigation charges. They would not pay for damaged doors, built in cabinets' and some of my personal items. Adjuster does not return calls and email always making excuses as to why not. Adjuster took weeks to address built in cabinet while modl was growing underneath. Would not pay for the damages after. Cheap and horrible.

Storm 1/16/22 in Georgia caused partial part of my fence and caused water damage in my kitchen. Farm Bureau wants to charge 2 separate claims and deductibles, ($1,000 each). They had someone to come out and state that he didn't see a leak in roof but wasn't sure. Claims agent stated that it might be from pipes and said it could be maintenance from wear and tear but couldn't be sure. Well how do I find out? He said call a plumber yet couldn't suggest one because they don't employ any and have none for referral. Also stated that they don't reimburse for a plumber's charge to see what the problem is. This makes absolutely no sense. WHY DO I PAY FOR HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE if I'm not getting any help. How can you decide on a claim when you have not accessed the problem. Isn't this your job? I have a open floor plan. Adjuster stated they they will cover 2 ceilings and that a good painter should be able to match the ceilings from 1995 (popcorn ceilings). Really? Where they do that at? If you don't already know, The Insurance Commissioner will be involved in this complaint, but I wanted to let as many people as possible know, DO NOT INSURE WITH FARM BUREAU INSURANCE.

db30058, this is the point where you hire a public adjuster to advocate for you, as the homeowner. The insurance company has their own adjuster to advocate for their interest, who is on your side? Let me know if you would like to discuss your claim with a public adjuster.

@db30058, this should have been just one claim because it was one incident that caused multiple damages on your property. The adjuster isn't an expert on repairing the home, that's why the adjuster will need to hire an expert to come inspect the home. However, you don't need to take the advice or evaluation by anyone the insurance adjuster sends out there. Most of the time, the contractors working for the insurance company are paid to report minimal of damages. You really need to contact a public adjuster to represent and advocate for you in your claim.

Agents don’t tell you certain things about your policy so you end up getting messed over. I would recommend getting a third person to evaluate your policy.

This is the most unprofessional rudest people I’ve ever dealt with when I moved my Farm Bureau policy from Habersham to White County so I could keep a better eye on it after told them the problems that I’ve had in Habersham about the bill going to the wrong place they did not pay me any attention at all they ended up sending another A notice to the wrong address then we get a call us they were canceling that day because of something that needed to be corrected on our property when we did not even get notification and I told them in the beginning where the notices should go and they totally ignored what I said I’ve never had an insurance company that say that I am supposed to jump through hoops just because I have their service do not use this agent in White County he is horrible we found out that they’re canceling on a certain day with no notice that was canceling the day that we got the call that sent the notice somewhere else and they don’t you call them and they don’t care******Run in the other direction

Horrible service! My vehicle was rear ended by one of their customers who felt a bag of McDonalds was more important than the safety & welfare of me driving my vehicle. Turning into my home, their customer rear ended my vehicle causing it to go into a ditch where I sustained a huge swelling to my head. What is worse is the service the agents are giving to us. They don’t call to update us & it’s been since Dec04 & it’s still sitting in the tow yard and here it was towed to. They're slow & unprofessional. Would be nice if this BS happened to them so they can feel the pain we have been going through.

Absolutely the worst insurance company in the business. Had a house fire and lost everything. This company scewed me over royally. Even tho they investigated it and determined it was an electrical source they paid only a small portion of what they owed me. If you have this company get out. If you looking for a company to insure you then keep looking.

Mike, a house fire should have had the damages, along with any damaged wires replaced. Just make sure you have the damages documented properly with photos and a list of items lost. Even clothing and carpeting should be replaced or cleaned, even if there is no physical damage. Exposure could pose a big risk to your health. Even though it's been a year and a half, you can still reopen the claim and argue your case. It may benefit you to discuss your claim with a public adjuster who can represent and advocate for your home damages.

I am a Disabled Retired Military Veteran/Senior Citizen living on a SET INCOME. I purchased my home in 2003, and Farm Bureau was the Home Insurance company that my Real Estate agent referred me to. At the time their insurance was very affordable, so I went with them. WRONG CHOICE.

FAST FORWARD.

Firstly: I have NOT had ANY claims whatsoever. Nevertheless, GEORGIA FARM BUREAU has SYSTEMATICALLY RAISED MY INSURANCE REPEATEDLY!!! Oh, AND MY NEIGHBORS HAVE BEEN GETTING NEW ROOFS/ PATIO ADDITIONS TO THEIR HOMES AND IT ALL GETS DRAFTED INTO MY POLICY FOR ME TO PAY FOR THEM!!

When I complain, they threaten to drop me/tell me to go find another Insurance Company !!

Lastly: I need work done on MY HOME, but GEORGIA FARM BUREAU WILL NOT COMPLY WITHOUT THREATENING TO RAISE MY POLICY EVEN MORE!! THEY ARE TRYING TO FORCE ME OUT OF MY HOME!!

AVOID THESE LOW-LIFE CROOKS!!!!

I Member for 20 years. Deceased husband first 15. We only claimed 2 roofs, 15 years apart. They didn't want to process the second claim due to tropical storm. I had to call the appraisers supervisor. Then Issue with a downed tree, Madaris flooded septic and spray paint on my porch steps. I inquired about the last 3 and they told me they didn't meet the requirements. They sent my a non insurance renewal because I had 3 claims. Now in TN they told State Farm I have 7. I was foreclosed wrongfully by Seterus last year. I Beware of this pattern of criminal nsl behavior. Set up.

suspect foul play. It was difficult to get insurance without paying a lot more money after that. Lemonade renter's was eafy breezy. Bewar if this pattern of abuse.

This company takes advantage of minorities and women! They tresspassed on my property and refused to give me a fair result after paying on-time for over 12 years. Management kept busy and didn't give me their undivided attention after asking me to take time from work to discuss my claim. I only filed 1 claim, which was incorrectly denied. After doing so, they immediately canceled my insurance. I was not valued as a customer!

Send a minimal refund for my auto policy because of less claims during the covid19 issue. Then increase my premium $120/year.. Refund being issued was a PR stunt to make Farm Bureau look good..NOTHING MORE. They made sure they lost no money, not surprising when dealing with lying assholes.I'm Done with this CLOWN show, I will be ceasing all business with this joke of a company!

43 years and a customer. Two home owner claims during the entire 43 years. Also had auto coverage that included insurance on 10+ vehicles during the 43 years and only one claim. One year ago had a water leak in a.bathroom that caused mold damage. Claim only paid about 60% of total to repair. Received notice today Farm Bureau was canceling our insurance poljcy for our home. Local agent will not even return my call. I would be ashamed also. Stay away from this co.pany!

Couldn't continue home insurance through them for a new house purchase because they couldn't get anyone over there to take pictures in a timely manner (even though I had an appraisal and a home inspection report with pictures). The pictures must be made by 'their' camera. After I moved, my auto insurance premium increased mid policy. Evidently I moved to a 'bigger' town. I understand that there are complex formulas that go into insurance premiums but to raise someone's premium during the middle of their policy seems ridiculous to me. Looks like it's time to start insurance shopping again.
