I have a card with aspire. Was good and I became behind on my payment and not a word from them and when I called earlier their acct servicing and customer service etc were very rude! I work for a loan servicing company and we DO NOT treat out customers like that at all! No cs skills or empathy or anything!!
PRO / CON: Pre-approval received. Easy application process. User friendly website. High credit limit. Average APR for bad/poor/fair credit. As long as you're making an on time payment you can build your credit quickly. You have to make sure you continuously use the card or you'll be canceled. Cash advance available with a high APR. No deposit (unsecured card) or program fee required.
I dont work, so i had help getting a prepaid visa card to pay my account, they refused the payment! I told them thanks and that they wouldnt be getting paid... the people that are there dont want to help you its like we are an inconvenience for them to answer the phones. Very rude
II received that offer after a bankruptcy, it was my only option, I chose without annual fees and I was approved for 1500 dollars, I was using it wisely because I did not want to fall into another bankruptcy, On July 27, 2022, I received an email that I canceled the card due to lack of use, On April 10, 2022 I used it for the amount of $474.00 dollars, and they canceled it, due to lack of use I still owe $143 dollars, It seems extremely unfair, but nothing can be done, I do not recommend it even to put it in the shredder.
I had this card for over a year and carried a balance of over $1000.00 for almost a year and then I paid my card off and didn’t charge anything in 60 days and they closed my card without notifying me or making me aware of the impending closing of my account. No warning at all. Went to use my card and was so embarrassed when my card was declined at the register. I made a big old stink at the store because I KNEW that my card wasn’t maxed out or even close to it. Upon calling they told me that my account was closed without my knowledge. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Horrible and stay away!!!!!!
As long as you keep a balance and are paying interest your account is considered in good standing. But pay it off and not add another charge and they will close it the very next month. If you have a significant credit limit expect your credit score to tank. I'm not too salty about it because their service sucked and this just proves that this credit card is garbage.

First, you'll need to check if you pre-qualify, and if you do, you'll be able to start the application process.
And if the issuer sent you a mail offer, you can skip pre-qualification. After submitting your 14-digit offer code online, you can begin the application process.
Your chances of being approved are good, even with bad credit, but there are other factors taken into consideration as well. The issuer will look at your income, debts, and payment history to decide if you're eligible for an Aspire Card.
