I am appalled at the lack of professionalism. Svetlana who works in the Denver branch - over stepped her boundaries constantly. She became very good friends with my brother and would tell him information about me that was absolutely none of his business. As we're splitting a foundation and I had resons for not retiring until things were taken care of between the two of us, but with Svetlana's help he was able to push me out. I can strongly recommend that no one have anything to do with the BOK and especially Svetlana!!!!

A bok credit card was locked but some how someone was able to add a 7.99 netflix subscription. We call and the rep was rude and snotty. Basically said someone in our house had an account. Yes, we do, the top tier package on another card. She finally agreed to send a new card with a different number. 2 hrs later, we check the account and the 7.99 subscription is on the new card. "Recurring charges, will go to the next card". Since when, I can replace a damaged or expired card on any other bank or credit card and the subscription will not carry over. Also how can we cancel an subscription we cant access. Needles to say we canceled the credit card account completely.

Worst bank ever. I have been dealing with an insurance check that was supposed to go into my checking account but never received it. Every time I called, I was lied to. None of the employees or managers know their job. Very poor service. Stay away from this bank.

They are horrible and make lame excuses. Their system sucks and is always having technical issues, resulting in international wire transfers being returned. Not once or twice. We had to absorb those costs to have our funds resent. They flat out lied and said the account number was wrong. They are so unprofessional. They take no responsibility for their poor service.

Always, and I mean always, there's a technical issue with this bank. You can't go a month without a failure in the system somewhere. There are constantly ATM outages at multiple locations, including the branches. Now a system wide outage that has screwed up numerous transactions. Get your stuff together once and for all please.

I would definitely not recommend this company to handle your 401k. My account was locked and closed, then refunded back to the company I had worked for. For several months, the money was not under my control, and there was a fraudulent transfer of the contributions I made. The Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Labor will be notified of fraudulent transactions. They acted as if this was my fault and weren't pleasant to work with. I should have just turned it over to a legal team with a lawsuit. Do not let this company control your 401k because you may lose it.

I only gave one star because it made you. I was charged twice by Walmart when I did the pickup grocery service; it was the first time I had done it. They even saw the mistake and sent me proof. Over a month later, and the letter was a week old, they informed me that they reversed their decision, making my car and utilities payments bounce. I have been a customer since 1996, but no more.

The worst bank I have ever seen. I had to use Zelle, so I opened an account and disclosed the source of incoming funds. I also explained each time I took money out what I intended to use it for. First, it is none of their business what I use the money for. Every time I made a withdrawal, it had to be approved by multiple people. What was I going to use the money for? Then I received excessive questioning from the teller even a call from someone at home. I dislike this bank deeply I hope they go out of business or upper management get fired.

After being a loyal customer for six years, BOK decided to close my account without warning or reason. I called 15 times and left voicemails because Ryan Miller, who was supposedly in charge of these matters, wouldn't answer the phone. Despite the promise of a callback within one business day, he never called back and refused to communicate. I would not recommend this bank. I had to obtain new debit cards and account numbers several times in those six years due to their insecure system, which led to several overseas fraudulent charges.

I called the 24-hour number at approximately noon on Jan 5th. I asked the representative if they could email me an activity report the same day, and if not, then I would just drive the 30 miles to pick it up. I told her I needed it today because I had to turn it in to close on my house on time and my loan office had just asked for it. She said there was no need to drive that far as she could email it. I trusted her. She even put me on hold and supposedly verified it would be done today because my loan office said it had to be done today. I waited and waited and nothing came. The lady said it would definitely be done, even if it was an hour before they closed. I told my loan office I would send it to them close to closing time.
The Bank of Oklahoma never sent it to me. If the lady had not mislead me or provided me with incorrect information, I would have just driven 30 miles there and 30 miles back. Now, on Monday, I have to go into a branch and get it (which is fine), but now the timeframe for the closing of my house will be pushed back because the Bank of Oklahoma didn't follow through. You would think they would have at least had the courtesy to call me so I could have rushed to a bank. They really let me down. I’m closing my accounts and letting my family know what happened as well, who banks with them. Their customer service is certainly not exceptional or best in class, in my opinion. People need things for a reason. I thought I could trust them. Now, I'm in a bind with my house closing because they didn't follow through. My closing is now pushed back to the following week.

After complete tornado damage was done to a home, BOK requires a 75% completion status for them to release more funds. They gave a 74% when the house was at least 90% done. They would not release the remaining funds that are required to complete the project! They only gave 74% because they did not want to give the remaining money. Many complaints were also filed and letters were written and never received a response. This bank is very unprofessional on so many levels.

I find it very disturbing that when an account holder goes to file a complaint that someone logged into their personal account and transferred over $9K out of their account, the bank says there is nothing they can do b/c it was done by the same IP address other transfers were made. Proof was given that it went from Acct A to Acct B then to Acct C. Acct C's ownership was also in Acct B but not in Acct A. Acct A's owner was in jail and Acct C's owner is the one that logged into the acct to transfer accounts. It does not matter what the laws of divorce say, a financial institution is not bound by those laws. They were given the information that it was not authorized, proof of the situation and said it is because it was done by an IP address that was used before. So for all those hackers out there, find an account holder and use their IP address and you are in the clear b/c BOK will do absolutely nothing. Acct holder A was willing to file charges and was told that would do nothing b/c of the IP address.

Stay away from the Bank of Oklahoma. My account was hacked for $2,000 on the 22nd of December 2022. When I informed the bank, they immediately closed my account until I reimbursed them for the $2,000. Since I'm retired and on a fixed income, it took me about 10 days to reimburse them. Then they called and told me to come up and pick-up the balance of my account, about $1,200. But when I went to the bank, they gave me the $1,200 and then refused to open a new account for me. I'm 77 yo and I've been with BoK off and on for over 30 years. And that is how they chose to treat me. However, I had to keep the account open for deposits only for three months to allow my Social Security to go into my new account. It takes three months to change your deposit location with SSA. The SSA advises you to keep the old account open until you start receiving your monthly deposit in your new bank account. So, after I verified my SS funds were being deposited into my new account, I went to Bok to close the account. Since then they have charged me $10 a month, for what I don't know. The account showed $0 and there are no deposits or withdrawals being made, so there is nothing to "manage". My little brother is a retired bank VP and told me to avoid BoK at all costs. He says they are now rated worse than Bank of America.
