Bank of Oklahoma Checking Accounts Reviews
What's Your Rating?
The Bank of Oklahoma never sent it to me. If the lady had not mislead me or provided me with incorrect information, I would have just driven 30 miles there and 30 miles back. Now, on Monday, I have to go into a branch and get it (which is fine), but now the timeframe for the closing of my house will be pushed back because the Bank of Oklahoma didn't follow through. You would think they would have at least had the courtesy to call me so I could have rushed to a bank. They really let me down. I’m closing my accounts and letting my family know what happened as well, who banks with them. Their customer service is certainly not exceptional or best in class, in my opinion. People need things for a reason. I thought I could trust them. Now, I'm in a bind with my house closing because they didn't follow through. My closing is now pushed back to the following week.
My little brother is a retired bank VP and told me to avoid BoK at all costs. He says they are now rated worse than Bank of America.
BOK likes to trap customers by hiding payments that were made 7 or more days ago, and then, wait for another charge to come through so they can WHAM you.
They get $38 each overdraft, and DO NOT show a payment you made 7 days ago on the internet.
BOK will show you made a payment on the day and the next, but it will disappear from “pending” until you have forgotten about it.
You ? need to maintain your register if you have a BOK account because BOK uses everything in their power to charge you Overdrafts.
They only get 2 Stars because they financed my house as well. I paid that off years ago.
