Our house had a pipe burst in May making the Home unlivable. Bankers has been a disaster. Over 8 months later Bankers still has not approved the claim to have it repaired. Forget about talking to someone. Between me and my wife we have made (no Lie) almost 100 calls and none returned. Just as many Emails. Servo Pro has said they have never worked with a company where the CUSTOMER is just ignored. Seeing a Attorney! (Again)

Bankers Insurance group hired the worst field adjusters firm to perform my claim. Took way longer than it should have to complete. I’ve been through multiple adjusters as I have multiple properties and the company they hired (CCMS AND ASSOCIATES) is the worst.

32 months since a fire destroyed my home and my claim is still being “reviewed” by Bankers employee, Jason Scott (claims adjuster) who only makes promises to review my homeowners claim,
Then he disappears and is always out of the office on vacation.
I am 82 years old and he is hoping I will not outlive my claim.
I have paid premiums to Bankers for years and years and I am apalled at the disrespect and the difference they have shown to me during this crisis.

Terrible experience. I've been in the insurance business (claims side) for over 15 years. My wife and I are both inside adjusters for a top 3 insurance carrier in the country. We would never dream of treating our customers the way we have been treated. I had the same treatment others reviewing had with Bankers attempting to cancel our policy and sending bogus adjustments increasing our premiums. They attempted to cancel us three times for unfair reasons, all of which we fought and kept our policy (big mistake). We had a tree fall on our home and damage five slopes of our roof. We are now two and a half months in, still no settlement documents, no paperwork whatsoever. My agent had to get involved to even get me a copy of my policy. I've attempted to discuss the claim multiple times and have been ignored, all communications have been ignored. I know the process and I know my rights as a policyholder, and Banker's response to that has been to ignore me and bury my claim. They sent out an engineer to look at my roof, and I guess they weren't happy with the results of that report, as they ignored it completely on their estimate. Their own engineer stated my roof isn't repairable, yet they then only paid to repair it. I received a massive underpayment about two months into the claim process and that has been it. I'm now entering the appraisal process and having to hire a public adjuster, because I've exhausted all other options. I handle hundreds of claims like this one with my customers within 14 days, yet I'm at almost three months with no end in sight. Stay away, and if you've already filed a claim, as a staff desk adjuster myself: hire a public adjuster immediately. This company is not to be trusted. If you don't have a claim yet, run away, run far away. Pay more for another carrier.

Bankers Insurance Group is a terrible Company for Homeowners Insurance
and you should stay away from them. I booked a policy through an Agent and
in two months after starting I received a bill for an additional $1100+ My Agent
had presented all the correct information and Bankers then told the Agent
that everything was fine. Several weeks later I received a cancellation notice
with the statement that I had not paid the additional $1100+ My Agent checked
again and they had already billed my Mortgage Company and was paid despite
them saying the additional premium was not required. They are a bunch of
FRAUDS and should be drummed out of the Insurance Business. I have told
my Agent to find me a reputable Company and I never want to consider
Bankers Insurance again!! Beware of this Company!!

I had made arrangements with my agent to purchase a homeowners policy from Bankers Ins. Group a couple weeks ago. My current policy expires 17 days from today. I received an email from my agent today that this company has decided to not set up my policy at the last minute due to the age of my roof. This is very unprofessional and should not have occurred. Th Bankers I.G. knew all the info when we first requested a quote back in mid-April. They gave us a quote and we accepted it. To not only waste my time and leave us hanging is about the most despicable thing an insurance company can do. I am glad to see this before I ever had a claim, as I now wonder what kind of service I would have received. I do not recommend this company due to the poor actions taken by them.

been 3 days after a tornado adjuster has not even called, if they don't contact me by monday i will be filing with the state board of insurance in texas, my neighbor has swift who i had before they have done been out there and cut him a check

The Bankers team is very helpful and makes getting renters insurance easy. I have dealt with a lot of other companies and have never had such a smooth experience.

I purchased a Homeowners Policy with Bankers in May of 2019 upon the recommendation of my agent who stated that he also has Bankers although I doubt it. Unfortunately I had to file a claim on one of their new products, the equipment breakdown rider, I should have known what was going to happen since the claims adjuster told me that it was a new product as of 2019 and this was the first claim due to the fact that my A/C coil had a serious leak and had to be replaced according to my technician and I was also informed by the adjuster that a third party handles the equipment breakdown claims and that the decision is based on their input. Bankers sent their inspector out promptly and the report went to the third party Mutual Boilers RE in Pennsylvania which delayed the process since too many hands were involved. Bottom line is that I live outside of New Orleans which had a history breaking September record for the heat and my family have to endure 95 degrees for 16 days waiting on the process which was denied due to the age of the unit. Find another company for equipment breakdown insurance.

So this is how big insurance companies get rid of policy holders. I was sent a letter on November 26th 2018 stating I needed a 4 point inspection ( I was traveling from November 23 ,2018Thur January 14th 2019) upon returning home I read the mail from Bankers Insurance Group stating a 4 point inspection was needed , (if underwriting requirements were not meet policy would cancel on 3/31/19 @12.01 am)I called my agent Brightway Insurance on January 30th to set up the inspection was told a third party would get in touch with me to do the inspection had not heard from third party by February 15th called agent again was told someone would get back with me , received email on February 20th from agent Brightway Insurance stating that Bankers Insurance Group wanted a inspection, (just spoke to agent Brightway Insurance 5 days earlier) .On February 25th the inspection was completed, did not hear from Bankers Insurance Group or Brightway Insurance concerning inspection until March 26th 2019 5 day before policy is to cancel , email was sent to agent Brightway Insurance from Bankers Insurance Group on February 26th 2019__stating what was needed to bring Property to compliance .
Facts no one wants to take responsibility for dropping the ball by not informing policyholder in a timely manner . Policy was canceled Question why didn’t they us EMAIL!! . Oh the policy holder would have complied!!

Terrible company. They could care less about their customers. I have had a business policy for 2 years and now have a claim and they don’t even call you back. I heave had to chase them down and 3 weeks in and still no phone call. Terrible customer service.

PLEASE DO NOT USE BANKERS INSURANCE FOR YOUR HOME.

They didn't mind taking my money year after year. I put in a claim and instead of working with me to fulfill their end of the bargain, they put so much time and effort to invalidate it.

It took months to get my damage fixed, and I had to pay out of pocket before they eventually capitulated and honored their end of the contract.

When I really needed them the most, they did not want to help. Other times they made me feel so worthless. I did not give up and I did not give in - I persevered and I JUST went with another Insurance company that had a great reputation.

I was with the VA based insurance group for several years. I have been in business 40 years myself. I would not recommend this company. They did an extremely poor job of representing me. When I had an employee theft they did not fight for my rights or coverage. When I fired them they came back at me with a bogus Workers Comp adjustment that was over $3,000.00. Beware.

I have had a home owner's policy with Bankers for over 5 years now and have been absolutely amazed at how unprofessional this company has been. Since finding out that my home had been built with Chinese drywall, Bankers has attempted to cancel my policy several times for reasons that are absolutely ridiculous! Because it is illegal in my state for them to cancel our policy because we have Chinese drywall, they have tried to cancel our policy for any Mickey Mouse reason they can come up with. For example, after notifying Bankers that we discovered Chinese drywall in our home, we were sent a cancellation notice because they claimed that we had vacated the property, which we had not and sent them proof of such. If we were able to get another policy, we definitely would, but unfortunately that isn't an option until the home is remediated.
I can only imagine what a hassle filing an actual claim with these people must be like!
