Our house had a pipe burst in May making the Home unlivable. Bankers has been a disaster. Over 8 months later Bankers still has not approved the claim to have it repaired. Forget about talking to someone. Between me and my wife we have made (no Lie) almost 100 calls and none returned. Just as many Emails. Servo Pro has said they have never worked with a company where the CUSTOMER is just ignored. Seeing a Attorney! (Again)

Bankers Insurance group hired the worst field adjusters firm to perform my claim. Took way longer than it should have to complete. I’ve been through multiple adjusters as I have multiple properties and the company they hired (CCMS AND ASSOCIATES) is the worst.

Jason Scott must enjoy emotionally abusing elderly women. 32 months since a fire destroyed my home and my claim is still being “reviewed” by Bankers employee, Jason Scott (claims adjuster) who only makes promises to review my homeowners claim, Then he disappears and is always out of the office on vacation. I am 82 years old and he is hoping I will not outlive my claim. I have paid premiums to Bankers for years and years and I am apalled at the disrespect and the difference they have shown to me during this crisis.

Parts of a Verizon tower fell on our roof from Hurricane Laura with assessed winds of over 150 mph. A bolt the size of my forearm went through my roof. The field adjuster came in. I begged him to go into my attic. He did not. They paid to repair my roof, ceiling, floors, door, recessed lights at 6000. What a joke. A month later here comes Delta. Before Delta even hit we were in our attic videoing the rain come through our roof. We sent all pictures and videos to the adjuster and Bankers. I talked to the adjuster that morning. He called because I threatened a lawyer. They claim they never received anything. They will pay for now, water in my walls. I had to gut my house. Here it is December, 4 months later. We hired a public adjuster. I’m done with them.

Terrible experience. I've been in the insurance business (claims side) for over 15 years. My wife and I are both inside adjusters for a top 3 insurance carrier in the country. We would never dream of treating our customers the way we have been treated. I had the same treatment others reviewing had with Bankers attempting to cancel our policy and sending bogus adjustments increasing our premiums. They attempted to cancel us three times for unfair reasons, all of which we fought and kept our policy (big mistake). We had a tree fall on our home and damage five slopes of our roof. We are now two and a half months in, still no settlement documents, no paperwork whatsoever. My agent had to get involved to even get me a copy of my policy. I've attempted to discuss the claim multiple times and have been ignored, all communications have been ignored. I know the process and I know my rights as a policyholder, and Banker's response to that has been to ignore me and bury my claim. They sent out an engineer to look at my roof, and I guess they weren't happy with the results of that report, as they ignored it completely on their estimate. Their own engineer stated my roof isn't repairable, yet they then only paid to repair it. I received a massive underpayment about two months into the claim process and that has been it. I'm now entering the appraisal process and having to hire a public adjuster, because I've exhausted all other options. I handle hundreds of claims like this one with my customers within 14 days, yet I'm at almost three months with no end in sight. Stay away, and if you've already filed a claim, as a staff desk adjuster myself: hire a public adjuster immediately. This company is not to be trusted. If you don't have a claim yet, run away, run far away. Pay more for another carrier.

Bankers Insurance Group is a terrible Company for Homeowners Insurance and you should stay away from them. I booked a policy through an Agent and in two months after starting I received a bill for an additional $1100+ My Agent had presented all the correct information and Bankers then told the Agent that everything was fine. Several weeks later I received a cancellation notice with the statement that I had not paid the additional $1100+ My Agent checked again and they had already billed my Mortgage Company and was paid despite them saying the additional premium was not required. They are a bunch of FRAUDS and should be drummed out of the Insurance Business. I have told my Agent to find me a reputable Company and I never want to consider Bankers Insurance again!! Beware of this Company!!

I had made arrangements with my agent to purchase a homeowners policy from Bankers Ins. Group a couple weeks ago. My current policy expires 17 days from today. I received an email from my agent today that this company has decided to not set up my policy at the last minute due to the age of my roof. This is very unprofessional and should not have occurred. Th Bankers I.G. knew all the info when we first requested a quote back in mid-April. They gave us a quote and we accepted it. To not only waste my time and leave us hanging is about the most despicable thing an insurance company can do. I am glad to see this before I ever had a claim, as I now wonder what kind of service I would have received. I do not recommend this company due to the poor actions taken by them.

I purchased a Homeowners Policy with Bankers in May of 2019 upon the recommendation of my agent who stated that he also has Bankers although I doubt it. Unfortunately I had to file a claim on one of their new products, the equipment breakdown rider, I should have known what was going to happen since the claims adjuster told me that it was a new product as of 2019 and this was the first claim due to the fact that my A/C coil had a serious leak and had to be replaced according to my technician and I was also informed by the adjuster that a third party handles the equipment breakdown claims and that the decision is based on their input. Bankers sent their inspector out promptly and the report went to the third party Mutual Boilers RE in Pennsylvania which delayed the process since too many hands were involved. Bottom line is that I live outside of New Orleans which had a history breaking September record for the heat and my family have to endure 95 degrees for 16 days waiting on the process which was denied due to the age of the unit. Find another company for equipment breakdown insurance.
