Extremely overpriced insurance. Not to mention, when I canceled my insurance, I was still billed $300 two weeks later because they never filed the cancellation paper, which then made me responsible for paying a $30 bank fee in order to reverse the payment. There were no apologies on their end at all. I'm with Progressive now and only paying $137.

Been trying to get the Agent in the Verona Va. office to call me back and give me a quote since Nov. 9th 2023. Called back a couple weeks later after hearing nothing and was told my paperwork and quote request was on the agents desk and he would be getting to me, but he had left early for the day. Still another week later and NOTHING. Obviously I have found another insurer but feel that the public need to know about this particular agency. Imagine if you had a claim that needed their attention. Buyer BEWARE!

0 stars if I could. They are not allowing my comments on HQ fb page and now have turned off options to write review on Goochland site. Their latest post on fb is for ag support personnel to connect farmers with mental health resources. What a joke. They have negatively impacted our mental health and the wellbeing of our animals with the outdoor concerts at the MEP. Despite us bringing this to their attention numerous times, they have not implemented changes.

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Total waste of money. Storm came through and tore shingles off roof, lightning ran through house and killed phone, modem, and garage door opener. Black burn marks where lightning shot out back of garage opener. Adjustor says he cannot state that damage was caused by weather even though it all happened at same time. Great company as long as you give them money and don’t expect anything in return.

I have been fighting VFB since Aug. 2017 about a boat claim. My boat was burned up by another VFB policy holder and no they will not pay my damages. They have been over charging me on my premium and no they are trying to offer less that have of the repair bill. They sure do not like paying out....but they will sure cash your check fast. Now they will not even respond to emails or calls ? Stay away from FVB

I had an excellent experience with Farm Bureau for my home insurance. Hands down, they had the best prices for the coverage they offered. They were recommended to me by a coworker and all of the good things they said about them were true in terms of prices and service. The only drawback was that the service office was a pretty good hike from my home, but I'm glad I took the time to drive out there! I recommend them if you like a quality product and don't like to be treated like just another number.

My experience with Farm Bureau was overall good, I really liked the fact that the person that you signed up with was the same one that handled all aspects of your account. They were really friendly and very helpful. Also the fact that you pay insurance every other month helped out a lot too. The rates were pretty fair and the coverage was good too.

Overall, I am very happy with Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance. They had the most competitive rates around when we were shopping for car insurance. Our agent is extremely friendly and professional and goes out of his way to accommodate our needs, even coming by our house to introduce himself and make sure we were familiar with the insurance products we were buying. We even saved additional money by adding a home owners policy to our account. When we were involved in an accident and had to make a claim, everything was handled fairly, quickly, and professionally. We were back in a car in no time. Highly recommended!
