My son was in a accident with a driver that is insured by Western General Insurance Company. The driver was determined by the police department to be at fault and Western General company will not pay for damages. The incident was reported to Western General Insurance Company and they had me to bring my car to my selected repair shop, Color Collision in Denton, TX. for an estimate. The estimate was completed and sent to Western General Insurance Company on Mar14, 2020. After the company received the estimate, the representatives kept claiming that they needed to get a recorded statement from their driver before they could do anything. I have spoken to the driver personally, as she left me her cell phone number at the time of the incident, and she stated she was at fault and would be willing to give her statement of admitted fault in the incident to Western General Insurance Company. We have called the company weekly over the last month and representatives keep stating that there is an issue with the recorded statement, but they will not explain what the issue is or give any time frame if this issue will be resolved. I hope for everyone reading this to please report their incident to the BBB. This company is clearly fraudulent from all the other reviews and I hope this review can prevent anyone from getting scammed in the future. I truly hope something is done to protect drivers from these types of companies. This is the worst insurance I have ever heard of. They are greedy, dishonest, liars, and self-defensive and thieves.
Everything wrong in this world.
Desired Outcome
Since this company doesn’t wont except their responsibility as a insurance company I will have to pay for my car to be repaired This company is trying to do everything to run their customers around and not pay for valid claims. I just want to help prevent other people from getting scammed or taken advantage of by this disgusting, corrupt form of a business.
