You might’ve noticed that I said the CoreFirst Bank & Trust Platinum Card’s regular interest rate was “among the lowest out there.” You might therefore wonder what the other cards with low rates have to offer. Well, the PlatinumZero Secured Visa has a fixed 0% interest rate, which might sound good until you notice its $9.95 monthly fee. The Orchard Bank Secured Card has a 7.99% APR and no annual fee in the first year ($35 thereafter), but you may not want to sacrifice the liquidity required to get a secured card (minimum deposit of $200). That leaves you with the CoreFirst Bank & Trust Platinum Visa.
