I got approved for this card. Did not get the card until after the first payment was due. Did not activate card at all. The company will not take off late for for card I did not even know I was approved for when payment was due. I closed the account, but am still responsible for the $75 yearly fee and $30 late fee. This is a crappy company. Do not even bother. Now credit I have been working on for years to improve will be messed up due to this card.
This bank is not worth your time! I opened a business account and immediately has issues. The account was not set up correctly in the initial set up step by the business teller, and no one checked her work. I got home and set up my online access and when I signed in my account was not attached to my sign in. This was the mistake of the teller. Going into the 4th of July weekend, and there was on one to correct the issue until after the holidays. Not really a big deal, but I guess the fact that I was upset and that shared my frustration and called out the teller for her failure and question the process and over-site, was not acceptable to these liberals. I used no foul language and was not yelling, simple called them out and held them accountable. A few weeks later I had a different issue and when I called to see what I could do to help speed up the process, I was told that "you called in and complained before ...." really, I complained that Cortrust screwed up, and I shared my frustration, is an issue to them? Don't bother with complaining, they will just tell you to find a different bank.

CorTrust Mastercard was the first credit card I received in the mail after filing bankruptcy. It started with a $300 limit and after 6 months of on time I received a $100; dollar line increase without even asking. Honesty that was the only time I had contact with a customer representative and I have had no problems with my account and would recommend it to anyone.
The amount of times my card has been frozen for "fraud" is beyond ridiculous. I've had my card frozen 5 times because they think my monthly Netflix payment is fraud. The transaction literally says Netflix and is charged the same amount on the same day of every month. I'm to the point where I'll tell them I'm traveling so they don't freeze my card while I go to the Twin Cities an hour away from my house. Can't opt out either. They need to get their fraud detection straightened out or allow me to claim fraud on my card myself. Definitely moving to a new bank this time.
Everyone here is working on serious credit impo. I always pay my accounts in full and try to time these payments to show the lowest possible balance. My insurance does fall close to the reporting date so sometimes my balance shows higher but I paid it in full.
Wow, seems a lot of people had issues with the bank. I haven't had any, I did get an email before I got card stating payment due, I called and had to leave message but received call back fairly quick. Was told not to worry about Bill it was just letting me know the yearly fee was taken from card and once activated upon receipt of the card, then I would see actual billing dates. I'm able to pay online and use the card valet app for quick balance reference and set up when where and how my card is used for my safety and protection. I know they did go through switching companies and had a lot going on at that time with new trainings maybe that was issue people had. I have had a very good experience though.
I’ve had this car for over 12 years my card was stolen reported it it took 5 months for them to report the fraud. Then they're disrespectful as well as unprofessional. I’m being told that nothing can be done. Cause the card was physically used I thought that’s what fraud was when someone uses your card without permission! But hey I’m only a black man what do I know
