They do not understand. I have worked in customer service for 20 years as an Overnight Check-in Auditor and Day Check-in Supervisor for a 4-star hotel in Moab, UT. Since 2018, I have been involved with the assisted living community, holding various titles, mainly in the care staff.
They made an error, depositing $400. I thought it was a gift of $200, as I was not sure when I would receive it, since I'm in treatment due to alcoholism after my father passed away.
While in treatment, this happens: I have zero income (that was disregarded), I am willing to pay (that is disregarded), they want the entire sum of money within a month (that's generous of me to say "month") because they closed my account and are in the process of sending it to collections. Again, I'm in treatment, and if I could, I would.
