Verified CustomerIt's backed by Synchrony Bank. So you get unexplained arbitrary credit limit decreases, but rare increases regardless of your payment history. The only good thing is that having this card allows you to shop at not only Gap, but also Old Navy, Banana Republic and Athletica. The credit website is easy to use with good options.

Verified CustomerGood for points towards gap or old navy clothes, sometimes they run specials where if you buy outside supermarkets you get 10 points per dollar which is great. If you use your card to buy food and payit right back. It’s like free clothes. In one month I got over 100 bucks with of clothes just food shopping and the gap clothes are good quality. Not so with ah old navy but they are great for fleece and tees

Verified CustomerThe rewards are great, but be careful. This card is issued by Synchrony, and their customer service is deplorable. For no reason at all, Synchrony may choose to close your account. You'll lose any rewards you've earned, so as soon as you get them, use them. Don't make this your "go to" credit card and don't carry a balance.

Verified CustomerCan’t pay in-store but, the Website is easy to use and the Rewards add quickly. Any of the Gap family can look up card with ID, so don’t have to carry it with you!
