The u card it says you can use it to buy certain foods, otc products, bill pay, long story starting with the bill pay you can only process online 1 payment my balance was $314 I used all but $47 to pay my bills but to pay a 2nd or a 3rd utility it sends you from $314 to $-360 how can that be the balance if I've got $47 left over, now to the food section, you cannot buy any kind of foods with it so that's a lie they make up, now otc products it covers that, this is the absolute worst insurance company you can go with!

AARP Medicare Advantage. 1. Two calls to their vendor, Optum, have not gotten me my Colon Cancer test result. I Will be emailing their Chief Executive Officer for my results. 2. I notified them twice of my current address while on 1/13/23 Optum did not have my correct address. 3. I got an Unwanted Colon Cancer test kit when I told them I already had a kit. > United Health Care Deserves a Zero Star Rating <

I have UHC AARP medicare advantage. My doctors finally found 2 drugs that can help me. UHC classified one at tier 4 and one at tier 5 wanting me to pay thousands a month. I am on disability and no way can afford this. They offer NO HELP at all. Just let us all die. In Canada, the drugs cost 1/4 of what they charge at UHC. They make billions and just let seniors die. They really don't care about you at all, you're just a number to them. I don't know how they can sleep at night knowing their overpriced drugs are actually causing people like me to die

They repeatedly deny claims based either on 'lack of medical necessity' or 'elapsed coverage' when neither is the case. One is then forced to call repeatedly, get your employer involved, get the provider and the provider billing office involved, and after a lot of wasted time and grief may get it all resolved. Don't even bother trying to call and speak to a UHC customer service rep. They can only read boilerplate answers to common questions and are incapable of handling any inquiry that involves an error in claim processing or a failure to process a claim. If you insist on speaking to a supervisor, you will either be disconnected or transferred to the same number you called in the first place. UHC had a much higher level of competence and responsiveness ten years ago (been with them for twenty years). Apparently, new cost-cutting measures and a sub-optimal pool of candidates for employment now define the company.

Avoid UHC. My doc sent an Rx to UHC’s pharmacy benefit mgr. (My UHC and PBM accounts are current.) The UHC PBM refused to fill the Rx. My doc then sent the Rx to a local retail pharmacy who had no problem filling the Rx.

I am an employer and get a different answer every time I email them. I’m have lost faith in them being on our side when it comes to helping our employees. We are all just farm animals to these insurance companies.

United Healthcare has consistently underperformed in every field in my experience. Websites ease of use, customer service, affordability, even their ability to provide their own employees with a system that is user friendly. 1 hour and 17 min phone call, 5 different service reps, and one with a nasty attitude. Do better UHC. You sure don't have any issues drafting that money out of my check....

United Healthcare has horrible customer service! From an app that customers can't pay their bills on to evasive call centers, only allowing appeals to be submitted by mail. You can save your employees the pain of fighting United Healthcare while sick by providing them insurance elsewhere, with a reputable company.

UnitedHealth Care processes my claims and then denies them. I have paid my deductible and met my out of pocket and they are still denying my claims and then told me I had other insurance OMG what is wrong with this company !!! I’m calling a lawyer
Do not get UnitedHealthcare. It is the worst I've ever gotten. if you even, have ppo, pos, hmo is a little good not really. If you or a loved one have to go to the hospital get ready for an emergency blowout too look for an emergency room because no one not even, in New Jersey wants UnitedHealthcare . If you talk to an agent from this insurance they will lie to you about the benefits. Be careful. Ask questions if they accept hospitals and medical costs in your area because lying is not good for none of us. I'm saying experience from this insurance and costumer service is very rude and terrible the way they speak to the people with no education and no class. Very nasty and rude in my part. Be careful this insurance may lie even, the agents here too get financial profit. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sort of. Be careful. The benefits are a 3.9 stars to me. Check if your state accepts hospitalization because if a no you may get cheated. The agents are nice at first then they become rude when you are annoying them. Do research before getting UnitedHealthcare because anyone can get ripped off. From experience. Beware in my opinion.
