As long as you are paying premiums and not filling a claim, things appear good.
File a claim and everything falls apart. Good thing i was familiar with insurance and was one step away from filing a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance.
Field a claim shortly after the tornado tore thru Round Rock, TX. An adjuster came rather quickly and I did tell them, i was not as important to homeowners who had no roof.
1st crickets.
A month later i still hadn’t heard a peep, so i called claims. They were baffled as to why my claim hadn’t been picked up by anyone and put a rush on it.
About 10 calls later, i received a response call. Chad Pleasant seemed annoyed (on fri) that i was actually asking questions on the claims process and was very short with answers. You could actually hear the disgust in his tone. He claimed no one sent him my file (lie 1).
I later received instructions & coverage amount. Great. So I proceeded with repair. At completion, Roofer submitted supplemental and required docs for checks (i wasn’t paying up front).
2nd crickets
Both my self and roofer placed around 12 calls to Chad. Still crickets. A call to his supervisor. Who said he’d look into the claim. About 10 more documented calls and finally an accidental call back (thought i was mgmt calling). He claimed not to have any of the paperwork sent and he could do anything until supplemental was done (lie 2). What!? Roofer resent.
Called Supplemental guy, quick response, but said he couldn’t do anything until Chad finished his part of there would be two checks instead of one. Me: don’t care, Process your part! He did. Thank you!
Called Chad back to inform on supplemental. He looks at records and tells me, oh i just received depreciation stuff on X date (lie 3). Nope, he’s lost in his own lies, dates were not even in my time frame. So i called him on his lies. Mam, i don’t want to argue. Oh you have no idea Chad and now he complains the other guy messed him up on processing (lie 4). You can, just have to do more work now.
I finally received the checks 3 months after repair!
They thought was going to give up. NOT
Think I’ll still file a complaint with TDI.
Changing insurance as soon as renewal is up.

Worst company to deal with... before you go with this company try to call and speak to an claims person... the do not answer or help and you will need an attorney if you use this company

My name is Razaliya Nizamutdinova, I was a customer of ARI for over a decade, moreover, my son's and daughter's houses were also insured through ARI. Each one of us are leaving the company due to bad customer service, particularly by Linda, (Houston area customer service rep). My previous agent had failed to create my account correctly and the customer service rep entered my email incorrectly, I was not able to obtain the requested information and therefore i am walking away and taking my business elsewhere. As mentioned, my son and daughter will be switching their policies to another company as well, simply because Linda failed to do her job.
Once again, these is 3 customers that were part of your company for over a decade each. Train your personnel for customer service.

We have been struggling with this company on a claim after the freezing last February in 2021. They sent somebody from another state to assess our property and he messed it up by not sending the complete evaluation of damages, he just forgot to do it. The company has not sent another person to do the evaluation and now we have mold everywhere in the house and damaged cabinets. I do not recommend this company for your home insurance.

There is a reason its so cheap, they don't have anyone working there to process claims. Benn waiting almost a year to get the contractors paid on a lighting strike to our home. Look elsewhere!

I need help I don't want this insurance any more I been with company for 10 years and I'm try to get my roof repair for 4 years, who can I reach to report them? I live in Dallas and they got my claim in Long View and Richard Tx and I call them again and now they telling me they still have nobody to come look at my roof and it been 4 weeks. I hate this company my home insurance is going up and my house is falling down because the want fix nothing

WARNING!!!! Stay far away from this company!!!!! They will take your money and never pay when you need them. They don't respond to calls or emails...........Don't take the chance. And if you do have them GET OUT Nowwwww....

A large oak tree from city property crashed through our roof on 4/15 leaving a broken outer wall, broken window and a tree limb coming through our ceiling. It took almost two weeks to have an adjuster come out. It is now SIX weeks later and we have not heard from ARI. We have left many messages on many days for Chad Pleasant, but he has not returned a call. The other extensions have full mailboxes and you are disconnected immediately. I finally reached out to our agent who sold us the policy. She has been on them for at least three weeks.
We are now EIGHT weeks post-claim and have major damage to our roof, ceiling, rafters, window and gutters. We want to cancel ARI (obviously) but we can't get other coverage with a tree branch in our living room ceiling and an outer wall with destroyed brick, wood and frame.
Please don't go with this company. It has been beyond stressful worrying about mold, squirrels and whatever else can happen with all of the damage we have.

Where do I begin to articulate my frustration with this company...it took almost 3 weeks after the claim was called in for them to acknowledge receipt. I called them numerous times to determine the status of my claim, to no avail. When they did return my call, it was "we are working on it". It's now 5 weeks later, the settlement check just arrived...woefully inadequate, basically it amounted to 20cents on the dollar of my incurred expenses. If you are contemplating this company as your service provider, look again, scrutinize the feedbacks, look how they treated their clients, reassess your provider. There is a reason why they're so low, they underpay if they pay at all on their claims..look at all the reviews, that should provide you with everything you need to find alternate insurance provider. My overall impression of this company, minus ten(-10). If you still elect this company, then you deserve what you get. Let the buyer beware.

This company should be investigated for fraud...please do your "due diligence" before even considering this company.. the Texas Department of Insursnce should do a complete audit of their claims practices, probable thpe worst in the industry...
