Complete rip-off artists. They gave me a quote of $864 a year, then secretly raised it to over $1,600. Then, a couple of months ago, they increased it to over $3,000 a year! My home is in good shape, has never had a claim, and it's in a good neighborhood. They are complete scam artists and need to be shut down and fined billions of dollars. My new insurance is less than $600 a year, with better coverage, from a local insurance company.

I was told by another company that they are deliberately pricing people out of the market. Over 3,000 policies with a public school salary. Predatory, evil. There is no reason I should be yelled at on the phone during a hurricane evacuation for calling the wrong department.

We have ASI. Our insurance has gone up $2,000 a year for the last three years. We can no longer afford the house. We really do not know what we are going to do.

I purchased a home through Dr. Horton in 2024, and during the buying process, they automatically assigned me an agent, James Flood, who procured this fraudulent home insurance. I should have seen the red flags when I did not receive a declaration sheet or anything in the mail. I kept the insurance for one year, then they raised the price, which was no surprise from a fraudulent company. I changed companies in 2025 and have not received my refund check of $882.00. Each time I call the customer service representative, they are dishonest. They keep telling me it's in the mail. They do not even do the stop payment process; they just tell me it has been sent within a week and give me a false date. I can't even speak to a supervisor. They seem to be following orders from the company, which is very dishonest. It has now been two months, going on three months. I will go through all the proper channels: the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General, and then a lawyer, as I have some issues to raise regarding Dr. Horton, who is also dishonest! And probably the agent too, who will be named as well in the impending lawsuit if I do not receive the check. My concern is whether I was ever actually covered by home hazard insurance. If they can be dishonest in this manner, it will be a probable cause for concern. Please do not purchase this insurance.

Horrible, it's our policy to take your money, deny your claim, and fight you tooth and nail. Zero customer service skills. Run away!

I had a claim from when we experienced that bad hailstorm for my roof. The adjuster came and said that I didn't need a new roof, just some patchwork done. I was given $6000. A few years later, I put in another claim for a roof replacement because I now see watermarks on the ceiling. My claim was rejected, and I was told it was because I didn't replace my roof with the money from the initial claim. When I said I had the patchwork done because an entire roof replacement cost more than $6000, she told me that "back then a roof replacement in fact cost $6000." This company is terrible. Why do we pay premiums?

The worst insurance company you can get. Wind and storm damage to both my garage roof and home roof. They only wanted to pay for one side of my garage and nothing on the home. Finally, after much deliberation, they paid for the garage. The roofer said, "Your roof on your house is torn up." The adjuster on the phone told me the damage on the home roof was from foot traffic... What a buffoon. Yeah, that's what I do, walk on my roof all the time. Seriously considering taking action against this worthless insurance company. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I switched companies for my car loan about 5 or 6 months ago. I need to get my insurance changed to show that the new company now has my loan. The new company has tried calling or emailing my agent multiple times, and I have called quite a few times, and I NEVER get a reply and neither do they. Since my insurance doesn't show the new company, the new company is charging me 92 bucks a month for "collateral insurance". DO NOT use ASI, because while their rates are a little bit lower than other companies, when you add on the extra 92 bucks a month, they become one of the highest. RUN AWAY from this company!

This company is terrible, I have wind damage to my roof and ASI/PROGRESSIVE est. the lost at 389.08 which is below my deductible of $1,000. We have had 4 different roofers and all have stated the entire roof needs replaced. I have neighbors who have got their roofs replaced with locate insurance companies so I will be switching to another company who will actually cover my property when I have a valid claim....STAY AWAY FROM ASI-Progressive Home.

ASI is the worst insurance company on earth by far. I don't know if the parent company Progressive knows, but ASI is running your name into the ground. I did find out one thing though if you ever file a claim, video record the inspection because they seem to be scared of the camera, document the whole interaction period. Another bit of advice is to file a complaint with your state insurance commisioners office and name the agent, eventually karma will catch up with them, in the meantime run from these losers.

Absolutely the worst company I've ever delt with. I filed a claim for mold and water damage and after the inspection it was 84 days before I was able to get in contact with my agent, Chris Jones. It was only when I went through LinkedIn and found my agents boss then messaged him did I ever hear back. They do this on purpose! They then denied my claim which my friend who is also an adjuster assured me would be handled.

Even after DENYING my claim they RAISED my rates by $1700! Insurance companies are crooks. Avoid at all costs.

Our hazard insurance was paid through escrow, and when our lender sold (no re-fi, just sold off) the mortgage, they reached out on three separate occasions to inform ASI Progressive of this change so that the following year’s policy could be paid and they ignored them. When I was alerted that the policy had lapsed, we had a conference call with my lender and an ASI rep to square everything away. While the rep was cordial, the decision to renew the policy was out of her hands, as she went to the underwriter to re-open a policy, and on two separate attempts, the request was denied. I was left to scramble to find another insurance provider as a result. Based upon some of the other reviews on here, this might have been for the best to find another provider.

Worse insurance company ? been fighting with them since hurricane Ida I bought my home mid June just had inspection done hurricane Ida hit August 29th wasn't in home 2 months I thought it'll be easy because I just had an inspection done WELL I WAS FOOLED ? ? these fools sent me a $1600.00 check ? my damages were almost $172000.00 roof came off on right side of house rain came through everyone of my windows as if someone had a watering hose attached to my windows ruined my floors in kitchen, office, living room, spare bathroom, and all 3 bedrooms I had to hire an attorney thinking ? that would help NOPE ?‍♀️ it's going on a year and they told me today that my case has bedn closed SMH ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️ ?‍♀️RUN ?‍♀️ RUNNNNNNNNNN AWAY DON'T GET THESE SCAMMERS I been trying to cancel them since 4pm CST IT'S NOW IT'S NOW GOING ON 7PM CST my husband and I called 17 times getting runaround JUST CANCEL ? ? ? Not to be trusted. We got a homeowners policy with them four years ago. They sent an inspector who checked our house and told us everything was fine. Four years later we submitted a claim for hail damage to the roof. It was turned down with the explanation that our roof had "structure defects and long term damage". So for four years they took our premiums with the knowledge that they would not have to pay off on any claim we made for the roof. Unethical to the extreme!

Claims adjuster Jerrell Hughes has completely ghosted me with my Hurricane Ida claim. He is the second adjuster assigned to me. Anthony Jackson, my first adjuster was fired according to Jerrell. He informed me of this after he took my claim over in Dec 2021. I wish i was currently receiving half the follow thru Anthony provided. Instead, Jerrell is ok at telling me what he thinks i need to hear and then ignores me, my claim, and concerns. I have not heard from him since he responded to an email in February where he said I would hear from him with qn update within a few days. Do yourself a favor, prepare yo hire at attorney if Jerrell Hughes is assigned as your adjuster.
